You've probably already seen these but a few months ago someone uploaded some very rarely seen 1977 footage, quite a few clips, which give you some insight into the last days before Monty and then some of her early run. It's your only chance to get to see characters like Terri "Bonnie Franklin hair" Webber. I still wonder why they don't bring her back as a recurring character, to give some continuity or family for Liz and Leatherface.

Those 1977 clips are really neat, and it's fun seeing Genie Francis' Laura pre-Luke.

I love this thread. It makes me remember that GH really did used to be a great show. tongue.png

Yes, it was. The crap on now can't hold a candle to the greatness GH showed in the 70s, 80s and 90s.

I have to say I liked Michael Gregory's take on Rick Webber a lot better than Chris Robinson's (from what little is available online), but I'm not sure how popular an opinion that is.

I would love to know whatever happened to Stacey Baldwin, who originated the role of Laura Vining (as the character was then known). She leaves, and then the next girl to play the part goes on to megastardom. I was just always curious about the whole thing, though honestly, I cannot imagine anyone else as Laura but Genie Francis.
