Ah yes, the Logan Hayes topic. I liked Logan but Josh Duhon was apparently messy BTS, then they wanted to bring on Brandon Barash as Johnny, etc etc.

I was thinking about The Text Message Killer story arc from 07-08 and part of me wonders if they had other ideas for the killer than who it turned out to be. Was the introduction of Logan & Johnny meant to have led to that or was it always...who it was?

I don't think Diego was always supposed to be the TMK. It felt a little tacked on. I think Cooper, Logan, and Johnny were always red herrings. Both Coop and Logan were killed off so it's not like the show had intentions of keeping them though.

I'd be curious if anyone remembers any rumors on who it could have been? Lorenzo, maybe?

I don't remember any. I think they were winging it.

Lol. I remember IS on Mo's show saying GH randomly called him saying we haven't revealed the killer yet so are you available? That would lead me to believe it wasn't the first instinct to go with Diego, a fairly unmemorable dead character.

I was supposed to be the TMK. Bob Guza said I had the best motivation to kill those people, as I hated every single character on the show at that time. Alas, contract negotiations fell through.

Ha! This is the answer. You never would have went after Leticia the nanny as your first victim though. She was way too inconsequential. You would have killed Carly for real, which (I think?) was the actual intended victim. You would never be so sloppy!

What can I say? I had a little extra time to kill.

tbh the scene with Dylan Cash's Michael after Leticia died is the only standout scene where I could tolerate him. He gave an actual performance, raging at Sonny to make someone pay. I was glad to see the back of that little goblin but I never forgot that moment.

Oh, yeah. I can remember that scene. Honestly, Dylan Cash is annoying af, but he was better than Wiley, Scout, Avery and all the other kids we have now mostly.

I wouldn't go that far! In his heyday DC was only slightly less wooden than the at least adorable James. The terrible story they gave him in '05 with his imaginary friend Jodie proved his limitations lol. As he grew he gained a sliver of ability just before being dropped from the show (around the time Leticia died), but he was still never going to be the second coming of Kimberly McCullough the Guza regime tried for a time to will him into being.

Of course FV now tries to do that with 3-5 kids a decade, so here we are.

I said most! I was not including James in this lol.

I just saw that Dylan Cash's most recent Twitter activity was retweeting a complaint about the Esme and Spencer story in 2023.
