Soaps need to take note. I love my glamorous, elegant, stinkin' rich soap families very much, but I'd pay millions to see a trailer trash soap. I wish Jeanne Cooper had had a second soap gig as that kind of character (I know I know, Marge, but...), she definitely would have done it justice. Especially when she still had her smoker's voice. Members AllMyDaysatGH Posted August 15, 2011 Members Share Posted August 15, 2011 This thread should be called Hoarders/Intervention, I mean they do come on back to back...;-) Allison's episode was one of the most disturbing things I have ever seen. It's in my top 5. It's definitely one of the most memorable! I wonder how that girls doing these days... That show pisses me off sometimes, actually most of the time, because most of those people end up relapsing I was BAWLING my eyes out a few weeks ago during this one episode, maybe you saw it, it was with this girl named Latisha...she was addicted to crack. That episode just broke me down! Then at the end we find out after she got home from rehab she relapsed!! I was ANGRY. I was so happy she got clean & she was so motivated to get back home & start over with her kids, then Back to Hoarder's, Imma have to record re-runs of this to so maybe I could catch some of these episodes you guys are talking about...LOL they sound really good, especially the one with the bunnies ;-P Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

She sleeps with her 10 yr old daughter on a mattress on the living room floor. Members AllMyDaysatGH Posted August 16, 2011 Members Share Posted August 16, 2011 Just watched the new episode from tonight with Stacey and Roi, and wow, this show is even more fascinating then I remember. Stacey & her hoard of animals was just mind boggling to watch, I wish they had her explain how she lived in that house everyday because it was BEYOND disgusting. Animal feces everywhere, roaches, trash, etc - UGH! I would've died! How did she stand the smell & the bugs everywhere, where did she eat?? Just wow. I get why she loved the animals so much but clearly she did not know how to take care of them. It was hard to watch the specialists take out all those sick animals. That dog with the staff infection And that dog with the heart worms just KILLED me because it looked so happy & energized! But if it didn't get treated soon it would just suddenly die. How tragic!! Roi's hoard of unnecessary stuff was just unbelievable! He made me laugh quite a few times, I literally laughed out loud when he was sorting through his stuff and found those old ass pajama's, talking about they were "good" LOL wow. I have mad respect for those specialists who help clear out the houses and clean. I would NOT have the patience for any of that. I would get mad really fast and go psycho, LOL...with Roi's house I knew the second they showed his hoard that it wouldn't have been able to be fully dealt with. It made sense his house ended up being condemned! LOL....it was a really sad episode though, it tore me up!! Then when it was over I was mad as hell. Just pass them out to somebody" Oh that roach infestation was nasty. I felt so bad that she chose the animals over her own daughter. Sad that those pets ran her out of the house. The dog crap all around the house was absolutely disgusting. Does she even work? She must have stunk whenever she left the house bc no amount of perfume can hide that type of stench I also have respect for the cleaners and doctors. One of the hoarding shows the therapist talked about being over whelmed by the dead cat smell but the individual living there didn't realize the cat (or cats) were dead. I didnt feel bad for him bc she didnt look interested in saving her marriage. She looked like she was done with him anyway I just saw another crazy episode where a family's hoarding was so bad that a homeless woman moved into their basement and they didnt even realize it! They would notice that sometimes the door would be open, but didnt understand why until one day they saw a woman walk out...LOL Another similat case is one Im watching now. A homeless man broke into a hoarders home and instead of reporting him to the cops, he let the guy build a small homeless shelter to sleep in on his front yard Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The homeless guy was PISSED at the hoarder for keeping so much crap, even though he had no business living there! And then, they find that he's been hoarding condoms in the shelter! And then he started acting like he was a newscaster reporting from the hoarder's house. For the life of me I can't remember exactly what he said when he was "broadcasting" but it was too funny. I love how you say "trick us" into thinking the 14 year old (fat..omg ) girl was the hoarder, bc thats exactly how it played out.
