That's a fun stat. So, you mean it was on continuously on CBS in either the daytime, weekend or primetime slots from the 1950's to 1977?  Quite a run!

SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE: A LOOK AT ITS 1970'S RATINGS:

Although not a daytime show, SNL has not had much coverage of its ratings data, so for SNL fans, here's a highlight look at the 1976-1979 years.

Note: The last commercial break and final act of SNL are usually not rated, so that's why the end times differ for each episode.

I had to look up TVTV.

Pittsburgh Post Gazette -- "Here's a program that aims at a satirical glimpse of the typical American family, so-called, and how they react when they're transformed from TV watchers to TV participants."

IMDB -- "Sketch comedy and news parody from the counterculture TV unit."

Ecclectic cast and crew, as was the norm for most Groove Tube/SCTV variants in that era.

    • I don't mind them gathering fan feedback as they move forward with the story. Just be careful, the loudest fans are not always right.

Bite your tongue because I think they're setting up a "Who Shot Bill?" story.  I got that too, very similar to Bianca and Erica. I didn't care for Dani barging into Bill and Hayley's home. If you can't find peace in your house, then where? Dani needs to be stopped. I could see if Bill had a housekeeper who was friendly with Dani and was giving Hayley a hard time.  Me neither. They were the highlight of the episode.

    • It's honestly the ugliest outfit in the world.
    • @DRW50 Thanks for the tag. Amazing find. I am with you on Jenny's impact, I also think it would have made a fascinating watch as Greg stayed around much longer. I'm such a softie for anything Jesse/Jenny related. Remember, someone posted his touching Eulogy at her funeral a few years ago.
    • I really need a new day in Port Charles to never see Brook Lynn in that hideous clown-ass outfit again.
    • I think GM would’ve worked as a recast Cam too The storyline could’ve even been that Cam was still learning the violin over the last year and the Nurses Ball was meant to be his big break. And it would’ve been nice to see Cam move on with Emma
    • See ya bright and early tomorrow morning! True, Kristen deserves a child like that. But it was too much like the way Ron wrote the kids on GH; they’re only awful, obnoxious little sh*ts because he finds it funny
