I never thought I'd see the day people would defend Stephen Wyman or would want to go back to that type of production again. LOL

When done right, the freeze-frame endings (with their effects) helped build drama better than simply fading to black.

Like the "Kate's Wedding" video I mentioned, here's another one where fading to black wouldn't work and the effects they used helped make the frame look frozen (instead of keeping the color in it)

it still made no sense! Salem is somewhere in Illinois and this island was somewhere south of the US. They dont have underground tunnels that go that far that one could travel through that fast

Upon watching some of these clips, I just can't imagine why DOOL is never taken seriously by the Emmy committee. It must be because of the committee's famous anti-NBC bias!
