Wow good job Days. Finally the numbers are reflecting the show. This will definitely help Days in negotiation with NBC. I just hope Days continues their trend of slowly inching up (it seems they have been doing that since late fall ever so slowly). Its better and more easier to maintain your numbers that way (at least it tends to be). Can't wait to see all the numbers!!!

Congrats to Passions too for showing some growth in the dailies and maintaing their numbers. NBC is doing great so far in 2006!!

Will DAYS stay on 2.9, or is this a temporary peak?

If they bring back Matt Ashford and get the Jack/Jen/Frankie triangle going, that should help their ratings.

I'm pleased my two favorites, Y&R and B&B, are still #1 and #2. :DB)

When a show has huge gains one week, they always seem to have even bigger losses the next. So I'm happy that NBC is Slowly inching up in the ratings instead of getting huge gains. It's much better in the long run.

And wow, DAYS is #3 outright in HH for the first time in years (since the serial killer story? someone correct me if I'm wrong) Glad to see PSNS finally back in the 18-49 race. Tied with B&B and beating ATWT and GL

If DAYS & PSNS continue holding steady or gradually increasing, Feb sweeps may just belong to NBC

Good job, DAYS. I think these ratings do reflect the great work the writing staff and the cast have been doing.

Hopefully, this will give NBC, Corday, and JER an idea of what the show's fans and daytime, in general, want to see from DAYS.

PSNS:

Tuesday: 2.1/2,897,000

GL:

Wednesday: 2.3/2,796,000

Friday: 2.2/2,663,000

Correct me if I am wrong, but PSNS hasn't had this many total viewers since August 2005.

Not even the Ethan Miracle episode had this many:

Ethan miracle: Friday: 2.0/2,823,000

Last Tuesday (regular): 2.1/2,897,000

    • Weirdly I feel like Nina was the most sus about the entire situation.  Normally I would have given this one to Carly, but Nina was always kind of trying to make it make sense. I think Nina (and Alexis) are actually really smart characters.  They just constantly get in their own way with dumb plans lol.
    • Rewatching some of 1991 I had to appreciate what a strong week March 5-12 1991 was. Cassandra dies, Nina shoots David, Sheila switces the babies, and drunk Nikki all occurring simultaneously. 1991 and 92 were pretty strong overall.
    • Still loving all the Gio fallout, but the scenes that really surprised me this episode were the ones with Nina and Maxie. I was not expecting Nina to be the one to put together all the pieces about Sasha's baby daddy. This custody hearing is about to get explosive!
    • I really hope after the secret comes out their interactions don't stop
    • BAHAHA  I needed that laugh today. Talk about one note.  I would put Derek and Ashley a notch above Dani. Dani's scenes are basically rinse, lather, and repeat for 60 episodes and counting.  It's as if she was transported from the soap opera Passions onto this soap.  MVJ should put aside her friendship/admiration for Karla and look at the fact that this character isn't wroking as written.
    • Agreed.  It doesn't feel in character at all.
    • You could always tell whenever Douglas Marland enjoyed writing for a particular actor, because he'd pull out all the stops for them; and Julianne Moore was no exception.
    • I'm sorry, but I just can't get past the fact that it was Lois, of all people, who deceived so many people.  No matter how hard Rena Sofer tries to justify Lois' actions - and boy, does she work hard! - it just isn't something Lois would've done.
    • Honestly, Olivia had kind of a good reason to keep her son safe from a mobster for two decades.  Sonny literally shot Dante in the chest lol and had multiple family members die, get injured, threatened, kidnapped, etc, etc.   I know you don't watch the show very often, but it's not like Olivia should have shown up and given Sonny and his 18-year-old girlfriend Brenda shared custody of a kid.  That would have been a horrible, life threatening idea.
    • Those fools will follow him over the cliff, because they look at him as their last gasp at relevance.
