It feels like Eddie left a long long time ago. Even when he was still on the show, he was there solely to prop Nathuselah, and to give Clint more time to mustache twirl. It's a shame to think of the wasted potential. At least Matthew will, presumably, be alive at the end.

But someones dies on the 23rd...and SID said the episode is narrated by EA...so saying I'm nervous is an understatement

Dang. When I read "bailing out" I thought you meant people who already signed.

So did I. The headline seems unnecessarily dramatic.

Errol, I think that phrase "bailing out" is a poor choice in this case. It implies that those actors had signed up for the new PP production, and are now changing their minds. The actors you mentioned never signed on in the first place. So they're not "bailing out."

You're correct. I've since corrected that.

The only people that are left to decide with OLTL are Lenny Platt and Mark Lawson.

Starr/Matthew/Jessica can be recast.

James, Ford, Aubrey/Rex/Gigi? LOL bye!

Something took place this week and someone is doing a bad job in revealing all of it and said someone, who works at xxx publication is currently spouting its mouth off, just got on someone's shit list. I couldn't be happier. I'm just sayin'....

I totally forgot about Roger Howarth. I don't really care about him.

Hope the actors that play Rama and Vimal come along as well.

I am waiting for all the Lucci bashers to come out and start blaming her.

Funny. My first thought about SuLu was that her taking a pass is another example of her good business sense.

I bet that AMC actor email list is burning up right now. Gawd, I'd love to get a peek at that!

Well don't forget about the still-in-the-air RH, RSW and HBS...nothing definite on those fronts yet. Just lots of speculation.

And though I'm curious about what they had planned, I honestly feel like that Six Feet Under style ending may have depressed the hell out of me. AMC did a really nice job of packing in closure and warm cuddly nostalgic feelings starting several weeks before the finale (remember that wonderful Erica montage?). I feel that I got closure, so keeping the ending up in the air like that almost lends itself to the beautiful point you made in another thread about the beauty shots, the idea that this town exists 24/7/52. I'll live.

Yes, I actually agree with that. I'm slightly mixed about ending on the gun shot, but it does make you (well me anyway) kinda have the feeling life is still going on in Pine Valley. I know the SFU style ending wasn't going to end with them all dieing like on SFU (at least I assume--death obviously was the theme of SFU so it made sense there), but still sometimes giving SOOOO much closure to a show whose very form is that there never EVER is any closure seems to belie what soaps are.

I'm as fine as I was before this rumor with how AMC ended if that was the end. I believe many characters did receive the same ending Agnes Nixon was planning on giving them on a fast-forward, so I don't believe my disappointment in or enjoyment in the elements in AMC's last episode would have changed profoundly with a fast-forward.

Agreed

Exactly, and I meant to clarify that I didn't think they'd all die a la SFU, but yeah, too much closure can be a real downer. For instance, I always hate it on sitcoms when they move on the last episode and there's that final shot of the empty set before someone cuts off the lights.

I would hope they would write Starr out especially with

Cole returning

Farah and JPL are definetly done?

Farah and JPL are definetly done?

I sure thought so, and as a matter of fact, I seem to remember them being the first ones who were done. Remember all that crap JPL got? Of course things can change, but...

I assume RH will sign if PP agrees to whatever ridiculous and non deserving demands he may ask for.

I don't think they even want RSW and HBS on contract... I read on another board they would like for them to show up from time to time though

Yeah. I thought he said him and FF were moving to LA as soon as OLTL finished taping for ABC?
