I love Oprah... BUT she better have a good reason not to be there. Seriously, 25 minutes of a tribute to her... the first recipient of this Crystal Pillar whatever award... with freaking Gladys Knight and Celine Dion performing... and then you can't even be there??? WASTE OF TIME. And halfway through, you could tell her video stopped playing to the audience - Susan Lucci seemed concerned, but I was just thinking WTF, so waste of time. I do think that Susan Lucci will get the Pillar award next year, if there even is a next year.

The ties are ridiculous! I can't even believe that. And to have a tie on Lifetime Achievement! LOL - I guess it makes sense for these two, except Alex T. looks bored and hasn't clapped YET for a winner.

That Pillar award was a made up award to entice Oprah to attend and she didn't bite.

There won't be a Crystal whatever-its-called award next year! They had to give Oprah something, so they did. This award begins and ends in 2011.

After watching this segment on the reality of childhood cancer, Ron Carlivati should feel like absolute sh!t for writing the farce that was Shane's leukemia.

True but he is the only non CBS winner in soaps so far. And, I might add, the only deserving.

I think Oprah will be the only winner of the Crystal Pillar award since they just made it up as an exscuse to have a tribute to her.

I didn't think it was possible either, but clearly it is. I can't even believe it. I was hoping so badly that they would learn from their mistakes last year and this might make me stupid, but I hold out hope that next year they do better if they have a show...even though I'm sure they won't. It's just discouraging to see such an insult given to my favorite genre of entertainment.
