I actually think the winner of American Idol is an easy choice: KATHARINE MCPHEE. IMO she has the entire package. She has looks, personality and the best vocals. Her star performances during the standards and 50's week have been great. I will say I did not love Chris Daughtery this week. I think the problem with Chris is that he might have peaked too soon. He was great the first few weeks but has stumbled in the last weeks. IMO the final is a no brainer if it is between Katharine and Chris but Katharine has the total edge. I think she could be a massive massive star. She kind of reminds me a little of Katie Holmes.

well i HOPE it is either her or Chris..and even Taylor. But i think taylor will make Top 3 at least.

I'll go on the record right now and say that I will accept Katherine as the winner. I love Kellie, yes, but in a competition with Katherine, McPhee the McPhenomenon should win. Both should have killer careers, though.

Now the contestant who has the BEST voice all around is Elliott. I am rooting for him to win although I know he won't.

Actually, his biggest mistake is using way too much vibrato. For some reason, certain singers on this show... this season and others in the past, get it in their heads that a lot of vibrato is what makes people say "yay"... and when used moderately, it can get a certain effect of emotion across... but it's way over done with him. if he would cut out the vibrato crap, i could see him winning because i think he's good enough... but if he keeps on using vibrato with every note coming out of his mouth he's toast

Really? If I am understanding the concept of vibrato correctly, I don't think he does it too much. I think it he just stops picking these offbeat songs that the majority of fans don't know, then it'd do wonders.
