I'm not sure if I understand what you are meaning, but they do have that one album and usually all of the top 12 appear on it.

Then of course any of the Top 12 can make albums and singles after the show is over. It is only the winner that is guaranteed to have a contract but it seems like the runner's up always seem to do good too, and even a few of the others in the Top 12 have had random singles.

Maybe that answers your question.

I googled a list for you Mike :)

Journey (He was their Bass player in the 80's)

Audioslave

Elton John

Billy Joel

Bob Dylan

NSYNC

Celine Dion

Bon Jovi

Incubus

Bruce Springsteen

Madonna

Lindsay Lohan

He has also worked as an executive at Columbia Records and MCA Records.

I'm glad to see that I was not the only person who thought Chris completely mucked up "Walk The Line" Almost everyone I talked to today thought it was horrible.

Yeah, I just read on EW that he sang the "Live" version. So I had to download it, and Chris sounded like he was doing Karokee to that version.

So much for everyone saying how original it/he was.

I like Chris and I hope he decides to take a chance and at least try to do the theme of the night. He was perfect when he did Fuel and Bon Jovi but the last two weeks he has been blah. :(

Last night I loved Katharine. I am about to declare her my favorite. I love Taylor, but his song reminded me of some corny Aaron Carter song. I thought Kellie was OK. Bucky & Ace were the worst. Lisa was nothing special. Kevin had his best, but that's not saying a lot. I liked Mandisa's, Elliot's was OK. Don't really remember Chris's. Still don't get Paris. I say the B3 will have Bucky, Lisa, and probably Elliot as the shocker, since Kevin won't be in the bottom 3 for a VERY long time.

Amazingly, Rick, everyone at work told me they loved Chris' version of "Walk the Line!" I really liked it because he made the song his own. It was just amazing to see that you can turn a well-loved country song like Cash's classic "Walk the Line" into something that, even though it was done in the '50s, translates to a rock version today--and without it sounding forced or hokey. I think he did the best job with making that song his own. It really stunned me.

Wait a dang second.

STOP the presses.

Chris copied the band Live's version of this song? :o

Oh, my God.

I didn't even know another band had EVER covered that song.

I wonder if the judges know..

Oh my, and I thought he was such a genius, too, for pulling it off.

Help, God, help!!!

    • Dallas peaked early, IMO. Maybe not a fair statement as I’m still making my way through the first half of its run, but I think it’s hard to argue to point that S3 into S4 was its high point. Back to Knots. Wrapping up “And Never Brought to Mind.” Greg’s introduction kinda took me by surprise. I low-key dreaded his arrival bc I know he very quickly gets to the center of the show, but even though they wasted no time connecting him with Mac, Abby, Gary, and Karen, it still feels like a gradual intro. The juxtaposition of the ending of the Chip story with the heating up Abby’s plotting is quite symbolic of the changes the show was going through. I absolutely cannot imagine Kenny and Ginger having any part in any of this. Yall, the Gary/Val piano theme that they pull out from time to time is my FAVORITE. I find myself humming it constantly.
    • Bloodshed is inevitable now. It’s another reason I’m glad Black people aren’t getting involved in these protests. As awful as this is, I keep reminding myself that 54 percent of Latino men voted for Trump. These people were put in harm’s way by members of their own communities and sometimes even members of their own families. Too many people decided to touch the stove.
    • Maybe I'm still in denial, but nothing about Neighbours' ongoing social media output gives the vibe of a show that's ending. In today's 'Roundup' video, Alan Fletcher referenced that production finishes in five weeks, but in all the show's posts the cast are as jovial and lighthearted as ever. Remarkably so for people who are about to lose their jobs.    Perhaps they're just putting a brave face on things, and I know they approached the previous axing with a positive attitude. Maybe putting an upbeat face on things is a collective way of showing potential backers that there's still life in the show? Or is it possible that they already know the show has been saved, and we'll get an announcement next month when filming wraps and the show 'rests'?   Does any of that make sense?!
    • A very good week for male eye candy on GH. New Michael is beautiful, Curtis's arms looked great in that polo shirt, Cody looks even more handsome with his new haircut AND we got Marco in swim shorts rocking his lovely bod and chest fur.

    • Yeah when Jamey Giddens did breakdowns for DAYS, he would sometimes state in tweets that specific things were his idea that he had pitched to Ron.
    • I don't, since they've clearly incorporated them into Tomas' storyline, and I happen to like his tattoos, but his jackets not fitting doesn't mean they're trying to cover his tattoos. The clothing overall isn't the issue; it's the fit. And I expect(ed) more from Jeresa Featherstone and her team. Very disappointed. He's the only male, overall, whose costume irritates me.
    • "And OMG, watching the scenes of Roger's return in comparison...the quality in the writing really nosedived. The stupid mask." Very much agreed.  Having Roger hide behind a mask for weeks/months, with it culminating with him swinging in on a vine at Blake/Phillip's wedding....geez.  So juvenile. IMO, Guiding Light never did a good job reintroducing major characters, either from the dead or elsewhere.  Masked balls = awful.  Amish = awful. When Reva was brought back from the dead, she should've just showed up in Springfield as Reva, and informed everyone that she had been gone for years because she felt like it.  She had a four-year fling with some dude who ended up dumping her due to disloyalty. Josh would be pissed and declare that their love is not *always* but *sometimes* and he'd act accordingly.  Her kids would hate her.
    • Agreed. The Emmys next year are gonna be a pretty tough competition and I hope we get a Days sweep lol  Not only does Deidre deserve a nomination for these last few weeks, but I also think Paul Telfer, Raven Bowens, Carson Boatman, Dan Feuerriegel and Alison Sweeney have good chances as well.
    • It’s not about a lack of faith and trust in MVJ, it’s about a a lack of faith and trust in Ron Carlivati, who I think can be very sneaky and manipulative when he wants to be.  And, all that “He’s just a breakdown writer” talk never changed my mind about anything, because at Days, it was “just a breakdown writer” that gave us some of the worst episodes I’ve ever seen.
