Chris Daughtry was the best. I want him to win, I wanna buy his cd asap. My other faves this week were Bucky Covington, Elliott Yamin (although was his worst performance) & Ace Young. I also liked Gideon (he's really improved a lot since making the top 24) and Taylor Hicks sorta but he really gets on my nerves, he over-did tonight.

Going home IMHO are Kevin Covais (BORING!) and Will Makar (who gave his worst performance, I love Simon's comments about Paula saying she loved his performance (she's really starting to get on my nerves, and I am/was a Paula fan). Will also has a poor knack of choosing songs, last week was his best performance, tonight he did horribly.

I thought Will and Kevin were great. Simon was going to trash them no matter what because he wants to influence the voting. I think Kevin sings pitch perfect. He's a bit nervous and doesn't have the image, but he is IN TUNE which a lot of people can't say. Even Mandisa as she belts it out, goes sharp a lot and covers with her power. I think Will is a good singer too, but he picked the wrong song last night, even though he sang it well.

Bucky is very underrated, but in a year of tons of great guys, he's in danger to go soon. I think he's so much better than Ace but looks (according to many) will pull Ace through.

I agree, Roger. Will is always in tune. I think the song choice screwed him. I don't find Bucky all that great. I like him, but if you compare him to the other top guys, he's basically fifth or sixth. Unless he gets loads better...

Gedeon and Bucky are perfect examples of picking the right songs and singing them well enough to survive. They sucked their first week but are a lot better now.

Kevin is horrible. He's like a lost little boy on stage and the judges have got to stop feeding him these delusions.

Ace floundered last week, but got a little better this week. It wasn't my perfect song choice for him, but he did okay. He was never in any danger anyway.

I think we'll see Kevin, Will and Gedeon in the bottom three, with Kevin and Will going home.

For the girls, it will be Kinnik, Melissa and a "surprise" (Lisa, Paris or Ayla). But I don't want to spoil anything, but Nigel Lythgoe said on Good Day LA or Good Day Live that for the girls, one going isn't a big surprise, but the other is a shocker.

WTF was up with Taylor's dancing? That was scary. I dont think he's the best singer, but Ace did well last night. He was my favorite.

I thought they looked equally average. I thought it was interesting how they still looked exactly alike even the same hair.

Taylor's just having fun. I wish everyone would lay off of him. He's the oldest, he's the wisest, and IMO he has the best idea of what this competition is about. Him or Mandisa. Which is having fun, connecting to the audience, rocking out every week, taking the competition seriously, but not taking yourself too seriously.
