I saw this on an AMC Facebook group - and thought I'd share it here. In case there is any dispute about the library of episodes as this would also apply to One Life To Live episodes

What AMC group is this?

Thanks again @Maxim

That definitely is a gorgeous clip with Dorian and Jason. Princi gives such modulated performances. The music, which is like a sorrowful hug, only helps.

Mortimer's mother was played by the wonderful Eileen Heckart.

I have never known why they killed off Carlo just to bring in a double months later.

Thank you for providing the name! Now I'll have to research her filmography. She is truly a gem. I have a special fondness for characters like this.

About Carlo - it definitely feels to me like they tried to correct course after killing him off. It's almost like something changed behind the scenes... that's how it feels to me, but it's only speculation. I personally think the whole thing created a mess... something they are still trying to clean-up with turning him into Carlo. The entire comedy-aspect of it is also pretty tasteless. It's one of the show's weak spots. Malone doesn't do comedy well. That's just my take. Maybe in the future I'll be proven wrong, but I usually don't laugh or smile when the show tries to be funny. Maybe it's not my type of humor, but it seems like a bad Woody Allen movie remake. The dramatic-dark tones however... they KNOW how to do perfectly.

"A new face has arrived on the scene."

🔷

Here we go again, Llanview lovers! Today I'll be brief, because I'm sporting a fever (battling some disgusting flu). But I don't want to go ahead in the story without making some notes. And I plan to binge watch all through my flu... so I need to write some things down, so I don't forget.

🔷

Kevin has a new angel on his side. The "other Victoria" as I like to call her - Rachel Gannon. She is the voice of reason, whispering in his ear, trying to make him forgive Leanne and give his son what he desperately needs - a mother. On the other end of the spectrum, we have the devilish Asa, who is exhibiting incredibly sadistic traits these past few episodes. One of these moments... I'll clip and put in the Scene of the day section. He was basically threatening Leanne and kicking her while she was down. I've only seen Stephanie Forrester do things like this to Brooke when she was weak. But to dangle (metaphorically speaking) a woman's baby in front of her and bait her like this... is a new level of sadism.

🔷

The Suede-Tina-Max stuff is kind of boring me. Now we have a cop who is looking for him and little by little they are heading into this crime-novel storyline. It's one of the least interesting things going on right now... but I think Marty will spice it up. I'm not sure about the guy... he is too similar to Max in certain ways and the way they always yell and scream at each other just irks me. I don't like people who constantly raise their voice to each-other. It screams primitive to me. But hey... that's the type of guy he is, right? I guess if I was some sex-starved housewife who liked reading novels about radio hosts and their dangerous-but-hot admirers... I may dig it... But I'm far from it.

🔷

Blair and Tina finally resolved their little conflict and Blair got her birth control pills back. Can I say couple of words about the humiliating position Blair has allowed herself to be in. She is basically treated like a high-level-escort-incubator for babies. Asa is threatening to put her mother in a madhouse if she refuses to have sex with him. It's beyond disgusting. Not that these situations don't exist... don't get me wrong - it's working for the dramatic effect, but it's still so wrong. The way he yells to her "Come upstairs NOW" like she is some kind of dog... and then we see her take her pill in a panicked state. Quite disturbing. You could call this sexual abuse and you won't be lying.

🔷

And now let's get to the most interesting part - we have a brand new character on the scene... but she is not yet IN TOWN. We saw a glimpse of Rachel's mother - Nora. I've been told by fans to anticipate her arrival, so I gasped when I saw her. FINALLY! First impression - quite neurotic, like a character you could see on a show like Ally McBeal, very primetime vibe to her. We'll see if she is a good girl... or a troublemaker pretty soon. But I'm excited.

   Overall - 10/10

Clip of the day

Asa torments Leanne in a very sadistic manner.

For me, it's really tough to judge Pam Long's work on OLTL, just because her time was so short and there was clearly interference (if not from JFP, then from ABCD for sure).

Beth Garvey, River's biological mother. Died of the weird virus the hospital was rampant with in '94. Jason fell in love with her.
