Thank you very much. I guess they planned the story with scheming doctor and nurse out from the beginning. Didn't Larry also go on trial for Karen's murder? Talk about no luck.

Well I got the gender right.

It would be nice if PP thought about hiring Michael Storm.

Interesting article....and it surprises me a lot as Terry Logan (Dr Ted Hale) appears on it!!!!. ( Larrry was accused of killing Dr Ted)...but according to long time fans, the first episode of OLTL ends with the cliffhanger of Dr Ted falling down the stairs and dying...and if so, why Tv radio talks about him in OCT 1968, if he only appeared in one or two episodes in July 1968???? Or maybe Dr Ted was in a lot of more episodes.........!!!!

I thought he did stick around longer than that (although maybe it was just in the hospital while slowly dieing?)

Wow I'd love to see some of first year OLTL. It sounds like it really began from the start with all guns blazing (pretty impressive as it seems Agnes created the soap and its bible relaitvely quickly--also impressive that it doesn't seem like she directly borrowed anything from her already created AMC bible--which I'm sure made launching AMC so soon after that much easier).

And yes I'd love Larry to come back--even make some appearances before it leaves ABC. Didn't he make a cameo at one point since RC joined--or was that just a bit before?

I *think* Joe's the one who discouraged Linda Dano from leaving the show and told her she'd never play lead like (_____). Linda said she thought back on that when she won her Emmy.

Linda didn't name the actress. Actually, my guess is Robin, based on physical type and the fact that Linda was a glamourpuss Dorian-type in real life, but I could be wrong. Maybe he meant Jacquie (who he dated, right?) or even Erika...

It's tough to imagine him as Larry. Both Storm brothers have such a presence and build.

How many months was he there? I always wondered why Jim Storm was on so briefly, only to be replaced by his brother--did he always only plan to be temporary?

Tully was out by the end of the year 68,but exactly how long I don't know. i have read that James Storm was on for a year 68-69.

Tully was in the soap from 15 july 1968 to August 1968. James Storm was in the role from August 68 to January 69. Michael Storm appeared in January 69.
