With most of the first ladies, when their hair isn't ratty it looks unwashed. I assume this is bad photography, as they look better on the show.

It's really bad photography. It's license bureau level photography.

Who knows? The way budgets are these days, they might've posed for these pics at the Culver City DMV.

Thanks for sharing all these. Sometimes I'm never sure how many others enjoy the old nostalgia.

Ruth was so beautiful.

I wonder if fans preferred Larry Fleischman or Vazili Bagnos.

He was pretty cute, agreed. If I were Erica, I would have stayed with Jeff just for the sex. laugh.png

I fear for MEK, I really do. He's carrying around too much weight and he needs to do something before it affects his health.

Serious? He's "carrying" a bit more than he should for his age, but I wouldn't categorize him in the category of half of America--let alone ABC people like Brian Frons.... I just wish they wouldn't always try to hide it with suit jackets. Plus as Miss Austen said, those pics are all horribly unflattering.

They aren't often mentioned anymore, but the romance of Jeff and Mary, and Mary's death seemed to be major moments in early AMC history. In some old interviews Agnes talks about being worried that she doesn't know where to go after losing both actors.
