When marceline was joking about having a homegoing service for AMC I imagined a bunch of folks gathered around calling each other by their screen names and how odd that would sound to onlookers ("All My Shadows, would you pass me a napkin, please? Zendallfan, you want me to order you another drink?"). I don't think I could ever call Carl anything other than Carl. It's like old school soap fans calling actors by their characters' names.

I do find it funny when a couple of people on here have asked me in PMs what my name is... (Yes, it's Eric, though no Montreal... Or number which sadly isn't close to my age anymore).

WHat I often find surprising is people I just always assumed for whatever reason were guys turn out to be girls, and vice versa...

Did you think I was a dude, Eric.

I come off rather manly/tomboyish at times. I really do. I have since I was a kid.

Well, Selena... I might as well add my stuff in here as well. My real name is David... Long time posters have seen what I look like, because I used my own picture as my avatar for a long time (I think only me And Eric have done that). But i'm 42, living in Central Missouri, I own my own business as a landscape contractor, and do part time florist work in my off season. I've watched Y&R since 1974 (since I can remember)and still do, although of late it's been SPORADIC. I got so mad that Liz Foster didn't get a funeral that I stopped watching for 3 months. I am obsessed with 70's music, as I had my ear glued to the radio when I was a child. and I collect rock and mineral specimens as well as video footage of music shows from the 60's and 70's. So here is me... about 8 years ago, when a bitch gets over 40, she can use a younger picture if she wants! LOL
