March 24, 201115 yr Member I was actually partially thinking the same thing. She knows she can get press by being overly conservative in Hollywood plus she chooses Glee to freak out on, a show very popular with the media. I think the same about the couple of musicians who speak out and say there is no way they will let their music being used on the show. They use the show to get media attention on themselves and their music by trying to be against the show. I actually don't blame the musicians for speaking out, because Ryan Murphy publicly trashes musicians who don't do the show. This is a way of solidarity, and to point out just how pathetic his behavior and the show is. I'm sure that some of what Victoria Jackson is doing is an act, and a career move, but sadly I also think these are her beliefs, and she just doesn't know, or doesn't care, how damn stupid and crazy she looks. At least this has reminded me why I've always loved Julie Brown. I even watched her MTV show.
March 24, 201115 yr Member I'm almost convinced it's all an act, to be honest. Like...how can you be so stupid and not realize it? She fits every stereotype imaginable. It's pathetic to see a 50-year-old woman just going through identity foreclosure. Why do you think it is an act? She sounds like your garden variety, typical teabagger republican. The kind that Sarah Palin speaks to and for. I don't even think there is anything larger than life about her conservatism. This is who they are.
March 24, 201115 yr Member when I read that quote, I was willing to give her hte benefit of the doubt bc some things can be taken out of context in text form and reiiterated by other sources. However I saw a clip of her talking about it and Wow. She needs to quit while she's ahead
