I was surprised at how many news anchors were just wrong on DUI laws and what comes with a convection. CNN kept saying it is almost always a felony. Local stations were saying they come with mandatory jail time. Among other [!@#$%^&*] that's just not, in general true.

I had that thought, too... that he looked kinda cray cray in his mugshot. I feel this rush to get the scoop in today's news orgnaizations is leading to news bureaus running fast and loose with their research. That also comes with musical chairs in the media today, and them being cheap and using interns for far too many things. Years ago, most news organizations would have a seasoned news director that would have that knowledge already. That's one job that requires someone with a lot of knowledge and expereince.. a news director.

I'm surprised at how many people, including people I sort of thought wouldn't go there, like RuPaul, have delved into "he looks like a woman"/prison rape jokes territory.
