Members SpiritualJunkie
Yeah, it was in Edmonton but like darraholic said, there isn't strong NDP support here...at least where I live. I've only started to notice some NDP signs getting put up..before today, there were nothing but Liberal & Conservative campaigns..and a few Green and Independent. Members darraholic
In my riding of Edmonton Leduc I saw NDP signs the first week and saw no Liberal signs but now it's 90% Conservatives and 8% Liberals. And to boot my neighbour has a Conservative sign.

Members SpiritualJunkie
I'm in Edmonton Beaumont-Millwoods and it's pretty much 50/50 between the Conservatives and Liberals. The only two houses that put up signs in my neighbourhood both put up Conservative signs.
Members Adam
Even old Landslide Annie is actually in serious trouble... Paul Martin was there last night rallying the base.... will it be enough to have one lone Liberal in Alberta? With the way the numbers are moving I highly doubt it! Members SpiritualJunkie
I think I love Jack Layton even more. He just appeared on MuchonDemand. Apparently, Much tried to get Martin and Harper to come as well but they never returned their calls. That should say a bit on how much those leaders care about the youth. Members Drew
I really am feeling sick over this election. The more I read, watch, listen the more I hate the liberals. But I hate the conservatives more. I really am thinking of voting NDP now, but at the same time, the Liberals are very close to the conservatives in polls and if I vote for them I have a better shot of keeping Harper out. Members darraholic
A friend printed out an old press release Stephen Harper read to a bunch of American's in Washington St and basically said stuff like Canada has too much Social Programs and trashed Feminist's Rights. Granted it was a few years ago but he did write it. He's just freaking scary.
Members Adam
The latest opinion poll on CTV tonight had the Conservatives at 42% as opposed to the free-falling Liberals at 24%.... NDP was at 19% In Quebec Bloc is 47%, Conservatives continue surging to 31% and the Liberals are virtually not existent down at 12%..... But then Craig Oliver comes on and says Conservatives don't believe there support is that high. Man 5 days to go its getting really exciting! Members Drew
See, Global's saying something totaly different this morning. I dont even think I trust these polls.
Members SpiritualJunkie
I agree...plus they make me laugh. The Conservative one where this woman goes on and on like an infomercial has got to be the worst one. IT was just badly produced. I read some article over at Yahoo a few days ago about how there are non-Quebecers who would consider voting for the Bloc if Gilles Duceppe weren't a separatist. I actually agree..Duceppe is the most charismatic out of the bunch and aside from him whining about how people don't consider "Quebec as a nation"..I agree with most of his platforms. Members Adam
Now Buzz Hargrove, a very influential person as president of the biggest union in Canada is accusing Harper of being a seperatist and that Quebec should vote for the bloc, causing Martin to actually defend Stephen Harper.... and they want this guy Hargrove helping the Liberal campaign? And then today Hargrove basically bashed Albertans....
Members Mitchapalooza
According to CBC Newsnet, the poll differentation between the Liberals and Conservatives is softening and the Liberals have gained a few points in some polls and their recent rally of Conservative attack ads (ones mentioned in this thread) SEEM to be slowing down the Conservatives momentum. Global also was saying something similar to this today aswell. I think the next 5 days are SOO crucial, lets hope the Liberals can continue to gain some very badly needed ground back and that undecided Quebekers choose the Bloq over the Conservatives as their alternate choice.
