From his Friday column...which male hunk/half of a supercouple (Bo/Hope??) is being killed off a west coast soap; his other half is a legacy charater. They can't kill off Bo....can they? Who else could it be?

Remember that blind item a few weeks back that hinted that a major soap hunk’s future in daytime looked bleak? Well, it looks bleaker by the day. Word from this west-coast soap is that this popular actor’s character will indeed be killed off because the writers cannot stand writing for this unbreakable couple — and it can’t kill off the male character’s legacy other half (even though it tried to last year, but the network said no). Upon hearing he was fired, the hunk broke down crying and begged for his job back, prompting the show to placate the actor temporarily. Too bad the actor thinks he’s coming back as a twin, but Suds is assured that’s not happening. He may reappear as a ghost at best. Guess who?

There were some guesses that this could be Daniel Goddard of Y&R. Bo is a good guess as well.

Definitely sounds like Goddard, since they tried to kill of Lily last year. At least that part fits.

Eh, I wish this happened a few years earlier or under different circumstances - I'd throw a party. Now, I could care less.

Read it a few times. My first guess was Robin/Patrick on GH. Cane/Lily Y&R could be it as well. Don't see DAYS killing off Bo, that would shock me if they did.

Cane sounds more like it than Bo now that I think about it...but why would they do that when they have brought on Scorpio and Simon! Kill off Lily for god's sake. Daniel G. is talented. What are they smokin in the writer's room...could it be someone from B&B...Kyle Lowder..? who's he hooked up with on B&B...

Daniel Goddard, on the other hand, hallelujah if they manage to can his sorry ass!

Kyle Lowder wouldn't fit the couple part OR the part where they said they tried to kill off the other half.

The only thing that doesn't make sense if it's Goddard is that the writers at Y&R have twisted themselves to explain Cane so much so that they retconed his past at 3 times already. It seemed like this writing regime likes Goddard more than they do Kahlil.

Sounds like DG and I know Y&R hates writing for Lane and Cane pretty much sucks now with his nevernding backstory!

Or did Y&R plant this scoop for publicity....maybe Cane is getting killed off but his twin is alive and well in the outback...his evil twin...They haven't done that plot in a while!

Also Lily was on deaths door last year so I bet thats when MAB was trying to kill her off but the Network said hell naw

I think its Cane on Y&R. I don't think its Bo on Days as they never tried to kill off Hope last year.

Plus Thom Bierdz is coming back to Y&R next month supposedly for a funeral that would affect the Chancellor family. Jill has thought of Cane as a son so they could be killing him off.

Because CKLily is going to get with Blake. they should kill off Cklily, she haven't add anything to the show or the character of Lily.

In reality CKlily non acting ass kill off Cane. Cane shine with people who wasn't CKLily. If they really wanted to break them up. They shouldn't have gave them babies. Cane could have gotten caught really boning Chloe. Break them up like that. I don't know who telling TIIC that CKLily is needed on the Y&R.
