Back when I gave a hoot about the Emmys I was more upset about things like that, but now I just tell myself her work will be remembered long after the Emmys are remembered as one of Dick Clark's bad ideas.

Loving the articles on LIASMST. If there was one scene that stands out in my mind, it was Bibi Besch (Iris) staring at the calendar on her make-up table...and figuring out that she may be pregnant (after being raped by Mark)

Judy Safran (Maria) has been sent away and Mike Hawkins (Mark Elliott) was replaced by Vince Cannon on Nov. 15.

James Burge (Sam Watson) finished January 28. Veleka Gray, who had replaced Donna Mills as Laura on Sept. 21, 1970, dropped out Jan. 26, and was succeeded two days later by Barbara Stranger. Vince Cannon, who had replaced Michael Hawkins as Mark, Nov. 15, 1971, left Jan. 26 - and was succeeded two days later by Tom Fuccello. Christopher Papes, boy actor, ended his role as Tommy Hale. Jane Manning did her last performance as Jean Jan. 31. Robert Drew, who had resumed his role as psychiatrist, Dr. Ellis, after two years' absence, ended his role again Jan. 28.
