Do my eyes deceive me? Are the iconic plates that sat behind the sofa for years at the Newman Ranch making an earlier appearance in the clip from 75?

Someone must have seen their potential and decided to write them back in years later.

And Jen, if I had the choice b/w Bruce and Stu I'd be sticking with my hubby. Bruce is kinda creepy to me.

I noticed that the oval window from the Brooks home wound up at the Newman ranch as well. 

Bruce is kind of creepy. Wasn't he the brother to Elizabeth Foster ? His son Mark became engaged to Lorie, but they had to break up when they found out they were half siblings due to Jen's affair with Bruce years earlier. Bill Bell kind of repeated this same paternity reveal in the 80's with Dina, Ashley and Brent Davis. He also repeated Leslie's mental breakdown storyline with Ashley right down to the same 3 women in the asylum tormenting her, although different actresses portrayed them in the 80's.

any chance to see Jennifer's death episodes? from 1977

did she die on or off screen?

Yep! I always thought that!!! It was Recycling at it's best! Like Father Like Son! Except the Father knew hoe to make it seem fresh!

I believe it was off screen, I think Stuart comes says she died in her sleep probably from a heart attack, there's a clip on the Vault of that period that shows Lorie Mourning with a very guilty conscience over their last conversation being a huge fight

Did Katherine ever have scenes with Jennifer Brooks or acknowledge she knew her ?

In Sept 75 Liz tells Kay that Jennifer has breast cancer.  Kay knew Jennifer’s daughter Lorie. I think that’s the only connections, at least through ‘75.

Thanks for the info. It would be nice if there were scenes of them together. Maybe Kay visiting Jennifer after her mastectomy bringing her flowers or inviting her to lunch etc...

Kay had zero friends at her ’74 introduction and moving forward, due to her selfish nature, bitterness and alcoholism. It would be impossible for her to invite Jennifer to lunch or bring her flowers, unless she thought Jennifer could somehow assist her in holding on to Phillip or Derek.

There was backstory that Kay was friends with Dina Abbott, but I picture it was a superficial booze-fueled connection

Kay’s first true friend, where Kay gave without expecting something in return, might be Liz in the late 70s.

If not Liz, it would be Nikki.
