I don't know what freeballing is, but Mad Men did get the vast majority of AMC's budget. It was in the news awhile back and Kurt Sutter when off about it on twitter causing a stir. Some say that's the reason WD lost it's original show runner. I don't know about that, but I know the guy who runs Med Men got a sweet deal by all accounts.

Hamm sans Hanes and Hendricks doing her American Babylon cover photo are the most interesting parts of the show.

I dont know the deal is with Mad Men, just bc it wins awards doesnt make it a hit. Winning awards doesnt make a show popular, look at 30 Rock and all those shows on NBC. I find Mad Men to be extremely boring.

I have never been able to get through more than 5 minutes of that show and its ratings are dreck compared to TWD.

I'm just getting to the party.

Last week I watched all of season 1's episodes on Netfix 3 times each before the marathon on AMC.

Then watched that marathon of season 2 up to the newest one.

It was awesome watching it all for the first time so quickly and together.

I had heard about the show, but never really paid attention to it.

It is now by far my favorite ''new'' show!

Great to have another TWD fan. The show rocks.

Most definitely this was one reason that Darabont was fired although they tried to played it as if he quit. I hope that AMC loses a ton of cash on Mad Men.

Gawd, I regret clicking on that link. I could have spent my whole life not knowing that kind of rubbish. Our obsession with celebrities is out of control. Who f'ing cares?

If being shocked is the same as caring, I care. I can hardly believe someone walks around like that on the job. It's just so unprofessional. Sure, he's a good looking guy, but if he were co-worker, I'd be WTF is wrong with you?

I agree with you, but then, if someone goes to various public events like that, it's going to get attention.

As long as it is not mine. This is exactly why I make every effort to avoid celebrity news or gossip.

I don't mind that type of thing as much as the excessively bitchy and nasty stuff which often floats around.

I don't get what's the big deal there...hehehe

It's not like Jon is taking his junk out and slapping it in their faces.

Guys with...um...more growth than others need more room to breathe down there.

Tonight's episode has been amazing. Non stop action and revelations. If this is what it's going to be like without Frank Darabont, well, it was nice knowing you, sir.

Yeah, another good episode. Lots of action, zombies, and drama. I liked that Lori finally realizing how dangerous Shane is and driving the point home to Rick. I get so tired of people knowing things and not speaking up. Rick needed to understand that Shane is a real threat to him and the others in the group. I get that Rick's humanity made him save that guy, but I think it was the wrong move. Poor Glenn. He makes me sob. Daryl seems to be coming around with Carol's help so that is good. Andrea is a dope, following Shane around likea puppy dog.

Another good episode. I watched Rick fight off those zombies on top of him through my fingers, but I loved it. Shane is such a dumbass. I cheered when Rick laid down the law for Shane, but Rick is merely delaying the inevitable. He is going to have to kill Shane eventually. I wanted to root for Andrea when she went off on Lori, but Andrea's attitude towards that depressed young girl was repellent. In the end, I wanted to slap them both.

Andrea's hero worship of amoral Shane has gone way too far. She has become a major hypocrite. You just know that if it was her sister threatening suicide, Andrea would never turn her back and let her cut herself.

Yeah, Rick is going to regret giving Shane this chance. He wants to believe that Shane is redeemable because he was his friend once, but soon Rick is going to have to accept that Shane is a real threat to not only him and his family, but to the group as a whole.

Apparently there are big spoilers up for season 2 on the show's website, under their DVD section. So if you want to know check it out.
