TnT were first married in 1997. Remarried for love Nov '98 then split up over his big faking DID lie. Roger Howarth's Todd left the show then and returned in Feb 2000 to escort Florencia off the show when she left too. Todd returned in summer of 2000 minus Tea who had left him. FL did a short return summer of 2002. She returned in Dec 2008 and has been in a story with Todd ever since.

Oh yes. Todd's a convicted rapist, a psychopath and on his worst days can be crueler than most villains on soap.

Todd's dysfunctional on a good day, and anti-social on his worst. He was badly abused as a child and has a very long troubled history. His saving grace is in his own twisted way he loves more deeply than most characters on this show and all his relationships are unhealthy and twisted... which makes him fascinating character. The original Todd smoldered with dark passion, you could imagine him snapping and raping someone. This Todd oozes more charming in his sex appeal.

I watched ATWT some and I recall Cady's Rosanne looking great in that coma, you're right, they do look perfectly coifed ;-)

However, I found Michael Park far more handsome than Aaron who had IMO odd looks.

Aaron Snyder was hot but, then again, I also find Todd Manning (both St. John and Howarth) handsome and, in general, like unusual looks. ABC guys are way to plucked, waxxed and muscled. ATWT and GL usually had more 'natural' hairy guys. I remember, too, when Cady came out of the coma all sleeping beauty Honestly, I don't like when a show makes a character look too sickly--this is TV and suspended disbelief works wonders. I checked out the Tea link and she is pretty and looks nothing like the sickly mess I've been seeing these past few weeks.

I get a similiar read off of the Todd Manning character--loves to passionatly to the point of obsession with serious abandonment issues. I like the character and can buy into the notion that he often does all the wrong things for all the right reasons. He is the troubled brooding wounded type which is exactly why fans forgive him over and over.

I am so loving Echo and get the sense she is a similiar type of character. The interctions between her and Tood should be interesting.

He told Blair her baby was dead and sold it on the black market rather than live with raising what he thought was another man's child. And he's raped more than one woman.

Alot of Todd and Blair's breakups could also be considered "preambles" as you put it bc many times they went right on back to being together after all the revenge and fighting ceased. Todd and Tea could have been been trying to destroy the other after their break up before they reunited as well but they didnt
