I think that the other Carolyn might have been at least a little bit closer to Jake's age than Lindsay's Cara will be. But it might end up working out okay with Lindsay in the role. I think this good make for a good story too. Especially if Cara is still in love with Jake and may want him back. We might end up with a triangle with Jake, Amanda and Cara.

Here is a pic of the last actress to play Carolyn (Amanda Hall Rogers) I think her Carolyn was around for only like a day, when the character was last on the show.

I guess Cara is just short for Carolyn.
