More OLTL Casting

Jessica Leccia and him and 20 years apart in age. Oh Lord. They are gonna make the poor woman look even older than she does now.

To be fair, that does play completely into their backstory of her being naive, him being so incredibly abusive and controlling, etc... Not that this story deserves any credit.

That's literally like me or Eric playing Langston's dad, how ridiculous.

And didn't they lie and say that Ford Bronco wouldn't be cast anytime in the near future?

You mean we're both still in the running to play Langston's back from the dead, dad?

If Bobby Ford is 25, it's even more amazing that he's become a tenured professor, one who has had years to garner some major film awards, no less, already. What a talent.

I actually wonder how this story would have worked if they'd brought in Vigard as Joy O'Neill and the Edsels as her sons. Then Liz Keifer could have played Connie and Clint could have gotten close to her to try to manipulate her nephews. And then if they wanted to make Rex Didi's son that would have also driven story.

Who are the Edsels?

I never knew Kristen Vigard had a history as an actor on GL and OLTL! I just know her as a well used session vocalist (she did the voice dubbing for the lead in the loosely-based-on-Carole-King movie Grace of my Heart).

The Edsels are the Fords.

Kristen was on GL as the first Morgan and OLTL as the first Joy. Apparently she also temped for Andrea Evans on OLTL in 1982. She was fired from her Morgan and Joy roles.

And how often was he in a speedo on GL?

Quite often.

To me he'll always be Kelly Nelson from GL half of one of my first supercouples: Kelly and Morgan. I can practically hear the strains of You Needed Me playing now.

Actually, You Needed Me was Sung by Donna Beck Tyler Cortlandt Tyler on All My Children. Actually, Ann Murray had You Needed Me as A Hit. Jody

Yep....he's 54, she's 34, and David A. Gregory (who plays their oldest son) is 25.

Hey Scotty. That is Ridiculous. She would have to be 8 years old when She had Bobby. I guess the Thing is that Jessica Leccia is not David Gregory's Mother in Real Life. Jody

I know but the Ann Murray version of You Needed Me was Kelly and Morgan's theme song. They played that mess into the ground everytime they were on screen together.

With this announcement, that makes three former GUIDING LIGHT actors (five, if you count Kassie DePaiva and Jerry verDorn) either joining or returning to OLTL, with KZ and Jessica Leccia being the other two. So, who's next? Grant Aleksander (ex-Phillip)? Liz Keifer (ex-Blake)? Perhaps, either Michael Tylo and Lisa Brown (ex-Quint and Nola) or Jordan Clarke and Maeve Kinkead (ex-Billy and Vanessa)?

Ah well. At least, GL stays alive in some form or fashion. That's the important thing, right?

I'd love to see any of the actors you listed. Hell I'd even take the guy who played Remy as a recast for Greg or a new character...

No, if anyone else from GUIDING LIGHT (other Lisa Brown or Maeve Kinkead) should show up on OLTL, it should be Maureen Garrett (ex-Holly), as Nora's sister, Dr. Susannah Hanen.
