Scoop! Passions has finally replaced Jesse Metcalfe, the Desperate Housewives idol who launched his soapy career as Harmony hunk Miguel Lopez-Fitzgerald. The contract role has gone to Florida native Adrian Bellani.

The NBC sudser has also recast Harmony heirhead Nicholas Foxworthy Crane. Justin Hartley — the real-life hubby of Lindsay Hartley (Theresa) — last airs Feb. 10. Arizona boy Mark Cameron Wystrach debuts as NuFox on Feb. 14.

well you can't get worse than Jesse Metcalfe. Even in primetime he was still wooden as anything.

though I dunno, neither of them have IMDB bios, so if they have acted in front of a camera before it would have been like Cop #4 roles. Eeek.

I'm a little surprised at the Miguel recast. I'm not sure why, he just seems more "mature" than Jesse Metcalfe (who still seems boyish, I guess, despite being near 30) or the "tempMigs" they cast.

As long as NuFox has good chemistry with Kay, I won't miss Justin all that much.
