I think the our idea that Joan be Natasha's mother is much better then some lame Barton. But hey, if it happens, I won't be complaining.

Joan's perfect for Emmerdale and the part sounds absolutely tailor made for her, a fun Nana-Cougar. As long as the part allows the character to have some money, Joan doesn't play dirt poor very well, it would be amazing.

Joan said to Piers Morgan that she's up for taking any script 'that's gonna pay'...Joan's signed on for a Christmastime pantomime in Birmingham, apparently she's going to make $85,000 a week doing it. At 6 weeks for the run, she's raking in $510,000 which is a substantial chunk of change for her. I have no doubt that, if offered and the money was right, she'd sign on for Emmerdale, not long term, but maybe 3 months, take a little break, come back for another 3, something like that.
