I caught up on the last four episodes of RHOM this weekend and they were SPECTACULAR (old Seinfeld/Teri Hatcher reference). I was worried that this season would disappoint for a host of reasons. Im so glad to be proved wrong. This really is the most compelling franchise.

I stand by my POV that losing Nicole was a big mistake, though.  It was great to see her last episode. Nicole is a lynchpin cast member with beauty, smarts, money, connections and an interesting personal story. Her kiki-ing with Stephanie over Facetime over her having dated Anthony proves that this girl needs to be back on the show. She knows everyone, she can make nice with her husband's ex-GF, and she gets it right re: the Julia of it all -- the new kid in school who dumps her old friends when she gets an in with the so-called 'cool girls'. Nicole's full-time return better not be TBD, Bravo.

The Julia of it all... yes, she has become this manipulative social-climber. I honestly don't know why she'd leave behind loyal friends for Alexia, Marysol, Larsa who are loyal to themselves and that's where it ends. Not that I don't enjoy watching those women. Alexia's family life and relationship drama is incredibly real and watchable. Marysol is a great Greek chorus. And I'll even give it to Larsa -- im enjoying her this season for the first time ever, and she was a good friend to Lisa. But this is also Team OG which chased Nicole away and ganged up on Adriana.

Adriana and Kiki should be holding mojitos. I was worried Adriana was being edited out of the season, but she's come to the fore these last few episodes. Her talk with Julia on the boat was truthful and bittersweet because Julia has moved on from her but (like Todd with Alexia) keeps coming back when she needs her, or to try and guilt her into having her back. Adriana's friendship story with Julia feels emotionally central to the show right now and is the one i am most invested in.

This will be an unpopular opinion, but while I am Team Guerdy in standing up to how Julia treated her, I thought the text reveal was a flop. She was looking for a dramatic moment, any excuse to surprise-reveal the texts. It flopped because nobody could read all those messages projected largescale against a wall. She was better off sending screenshot to the group chat and the producers and then breaking it down in her VTs as to why the texts were relevant.

I wasn't sure about Stephanie at first, I still think the flashing of conspicuous wealth is a put-on for the cameras. Waiting for the headlines telling us Massoud and his companies are broke in 3...2....1. But I do like her, especially standing up for Guerdy and standing up to Alexia's arrogance and narcissism.  I like that no-one pushes her around.

Can't wait for Seville and all the cast trips. Lisa tripping as she dramatically storms out, lol.

@Cat, you are always on point, but the one thing I don't agree about is Marysol being the "Greek Chorus." If anything I find her to be the cancer of the group. And her intentions have been exposed (to me), as it she stated in an interview this current season that why she enjoys being a friend, she'd love to be full-time again as she "misses those checks." I need to find that interview; however, it becomes painfully obvious why she's anti-Guerdy and Lisa all of a sudden. She wants to ice them out of the group in hopes she snags their position. Girl, it ain't gonna happen. Just be happen you have position. But yes, I wouldn't be surprised if Marysol is the one behind the scenes gassing Julia and Larsa up. We already know she does it with Alexia.

I 100% agree with you. The point i was making is that i enjoy aspects of Marysol, some of her VTs for example, or when she imitates Mama Elsa. Nevertheless, Marysol is ringleader of the Mean Girls, and I'm cheering for the other team. Nicole let it be known that she not only has zero time for Larsa, but that also applies to Marysol. That says to me that she knows Marysol helped orchestrate attacks against her. The fact that Marysol is trying to edge people out the cast so she can take their spot tracks, as she was doing the same thing on OG RHOM in increasingly desperate and unhinged ways.

No doubt in my mind that she's co-opted Julia's supposed beef with Guerdy in order to take Guerdy's spot for herself. (The backlash is such now that i predict Marysol and Alexia will distance themselves from Julia at reunion and throw her under the Bravo bus). She's been trying to do the same thing with Adriana for three seasons as she sees her as a direct threat. She thinks she's got Kiki in her pocket and can control her. She won't come for Kiki directly (yet) because Kiki is both a fan favorite and popular with Andy/Bravo.

I agree with you all re: Miami. I just still don't understand why Marysol, Adriana and Kiki aren't full-time housewives. Especially this year, both Marysol and Kiki get individual scenes and show their family. It doesn't make sense to me why they aren't offered full-time except that I know the cast is already large and they need to save money. But why choose those three specifically each year? They could rotate IMO based on who has what going on each year.

Adriana is the only one of the three who is deserving of a full-time position this year. I saw it for Kiki the previous 2 seasons, but not this one. Now that she's back to being a lackey for Larsa, she can remain a friend.

Yaaaaay!!! I've been waiting. And this? Worth the wait!! Cuz the last few episodes have been awesome with the scenery, the fashion, and the drama. It is giving that easy, breezy 'is it over already?' vibe I love in my HW seasons versus being a chore to watch. Not that RHOM ever really is.

Now...some fun tea...hehe.

I get the Teri Hatcher reference. ;)

Hehe. Nicole, Stephanie, and Guerdy hanged out later on and posted pictures online, too.

The breakup of Adriana and Julia has been its own little slow burn. And while I'm sad to see it, it has been well done because it's been building over seasons...like Marysol's growing dislike of Todd which I hope does explode this season as well. Even this season, it started from episode one. I know it's clear that I've turned on Julia, but when her drama is more organic and realistic like this, I'm a lot more invested. And we know I live for friendship fallouts because they usually resonate with me. So their discussion on the dueling yachts (I know you LOVE those dueling yachts hehe) felt real and I love it more for it. As for Adriana being edited out, at first I was worried that she might be. But I never count the Queen out of bring the diva fun and some drama so again she proved she's worth the wait.

Not us on different sides even after that rewind from Production! lol.

You're on point about Stephanie per some tweets online about foreclosure on that house if I'm not mistaken. ;);)

RHOM

Completely caught up!!! And the Battle of the Dueling Yachts was another superb episode!!!

Sidenote...good to see BH stepping up their game with their finale trip to Australia. But for me, the wealth shows up at RHOM. And the fact Kiki got all of that done and together with TWO yachts. Whisper that wealth, girl!!

I liked that while there was a clear divide among the group (Alexia/Marysol/Larsa/Julia vs Guerdy/Adriana/Lisa with Kiki and Stephanie as good in-betweens), it was not at all giving toxic. It was giving clear old school RHOA a la TallsvSmalls, BeastsvPretty, AuntiesvNieces, etc. It was fun and light.

And of course, I'm going to sit and talk about DOCTOR NICOLE's appearance. Love it! She just fit in so perfectly. And a nice surprise that she and Stephanie get along. I also loved getting an update on her life. Good to see the baby is okay...and her snapback was great. And awww at that picture of the baby and yes, I did see her father in that little beautiful face. It was just great seeing her happy. And she called Julia out on what was going on. I hope...and I think we do...get more of her.

ALEXIA. In hindsight, she was giving this episode. We got her family life though I gasped at how clear Peter was aging. Ugly outside catching up with those ugly insides. Frankie will always be Alexia's saving grace. And it was nice to have that discussion of what will happen when she's gone. I was saddened to see the downgrade of her house. A looooong way from her having elevators for her many cars. Meanwhile, this rivalry with Stephanie is growing. So overdramatic over a joke that SHE started. GIRL, BYE. And then I was annoyed at her stepping into the Guerdy/Julia conversation at the dinner. Rightfully ate up by Guerdy. Cuz what was the reason?

LARSA. Nothing much to report. But I wanted to echo @Cat while I do want to shake her at times, she's not bugging me this season, either.

GUERDY. I felt she held her own this episode at that dinner table. I liked she did try to talk it out with Julia. Again, mind you. But her gathering Alexia and Marysol swiftly worked for me. Moreso when Production got into the act and gave EVERYONE printed out copies of the text messages so they could see what was said and read it...on their own time of course. I would think it was a flop...if it wasn't for Adriana saying at the event that Julia could have handled it right then and there by pulling out her phone and showing the group that Guerdy was mistaken. Julia did not because she knew she was wrong. Speaking of...

JULIA. ...LE SIGH. The most fascinating thing about her continued to be her breakdown in friendship between her and Adriana. I did not like at all that she was throwing her under the bus at the beginning of the episode to Martina. Nor did I like her being a Pick-Me with the Mean Girls the other girls on the yacht. But still the show came back to her honest discussion with Adriana which has been building since the start of the season. And that scene hit. And good that her and Guerdy started to talk and try to come to a better understanding. I'm sorry everyone was trying to block that.

LISA. lol. Her, Kiki, and Adriana were a whole vibe with their spy names and having general fun.

STEPHANIE. I was so disappointed that she had to leave. Before that, it was fun. Her rivalry with Alexia continued to give. And I loved the surprise of her and Nicole getting along when one would expect them to not like each other due to who they both had been with. A strong clear message. We even got a little bit of her family story.

FOH.

KIKI. I got to give her her props. She set that event up with Marysol so well. And she was giving comedy, fun, and looks all episode.

MARYSOL. Bitter much? smh. She started off so well this season so far. Now I'm getting annoyed at the continued annoyance with Adriana.

ADRIANA. QUEEN!!!  Her breakup with Julia is sooooo giving her storyline. As well as how she continues to rise out of any and all attempted ice-out by the other girls. Come better, babes!!! Cuz Adriana was the party for me. Her feuding with Marysol. Her still being fun in spite of haters. And as I've mentioned, I loved her talk with Julia.

Another great one. I can't believe we are mid-season. So that means this season is going to be with 15/16 episodes not including the reunion. It is just flying by.

Maybe on different sides at that particular moment, but Guerdy was majestic in this last episode on the yacht. She had Alexia coming for her and Julia and she held her ground. Because it is more than simply a few texts on a wall, or a seat at Captain Sandy's table. I can't get Guerdy's face out of my head, her face when Martina was casually rude to her, or her face when Julia threw the water. She was in shock, biting back tears. This is about attempts to unjustly humiliate this woman. A woman in remission. They underestimated how strong Guerdy is, true to herself. I may have felt that the text thing flopped, but the way she stood up to peer pressure on the yacht was inspiring.

Today I saw pics on Twitter of Guerdy, Adriana and Lisa out last night celebrating Lisa's birthday. Im glad Guerdy has some friends she can still count on. Adriana especially has not wavered once this season when it comes to having Guerdy's back.

You know I still love you. ;) It was a masterfully constructed episode either way. :) And I LOVED Guerdy at that yacht dinner as well. You describing all of that just shows even more why I'm Team Guerdy. I really have been enjoying her recovery storyline...the good, the bad, the things I would have never thought about even if it makes me uncomfortable.

I saw those this weekend, too!!! They all looked so good and so fierce. I'm really loving how they are coming together. But I am loving the RHOA-lite group dynamic. For now. I do worry that the group split might get toxic, but this show has always been really good until the S3 reunion at pulling right back from the edge of toxicity so I'm hoping they pull it together by the season finale.

Adriana has been nothing, but the sometimes messy (and raven-haired) queen I know her to be this season. If anything, she's emerging as the voice of reason this season. And I love that when it does come to her friends, she truly be ride-or-die. And given that Guerdy was not close at all to Adriana (remember them not liking each other Season 4?) at the beginning so it's good to see her having her and Lisa's back.

Boz is doing A WHOLE LOT to kiss up to the Faux Force Three. Imagine having Dorit '5 Hours Late' Kemsley and Pat-the-Puss on your payroll. Erika talks a good game when it comes to working as an entertainer, but I watched her spinoff show and Mikey was taking her to task about her work ethic.

Boz still has some work to do to kiss up to Kyle though, lol.

I was SO happy to see Carole back at the clubhouse and in good graces with Andy. I wonder if his falling out with Bethenney helped that.

I was thrilled too! Carole was unfairly edged out by Bethenny and Andy in cahoots, and the show never really recovered its balance after that.

Bethenny must be having a fit right about now. She's going to ramp up those open-mouthed-chewing/makeup-splurge-at-Target videos big-time.

LOL oh her videos are so chaotic and insufferable. Yet I still follow her haha.  She's been on this 'supermodel snack' kick since she's moved to Miami and did her bathing suit runway night. She thinks she's a supermodel now, so ridiculous.
