BISH my wig fell off when I heard Meredith say this thing about Whitney and alibaba. I'M LAUGHING SO hard... I'll get into bronchospasm if I don't stop.

I LOVE HOW RANDOMLY EVIL MEREDITH can be. It always is so out of left field...

AND BISH... THIS new girl BRYNWIN is berserk. LOVE HER SO FAR.

HEATHER - SHUT THE F-CK UP, fake ass BISH.

Season 5 is FIRE. You were right! I'm up to episode 7! Britani ended up so relatable and real! She's the Carrie-Bradshaw of the show. Always pining away for her toxic Mr.Big.

Heather is unbearable  this season. She has delusions that she can manipulate and control the narrative. Nice to see the new girl Bronwin ruin her plans.

Mary still causes me to have panic-attack level of laughing moments. She's so iconic. Nobody can make me DISLIKE MARY. She is my number 1 of all time. PERIOD.

SO yes... LOVE THIS SEASON.

Haha love to hear it!  Have you gotten to Meredith's bar mitzvah? That is one of my all-time favorite Mary moments

Bronwyn humbled Heather a little, or at least made Heather realize that she can't bulldoze or control newbies.  Brownwyn was a strong first year housewife.  Heather barked a little, but I thought she ended up being a non-factor by end of the season.  I felt like Heather and Whitney took that much-needed backseat this season to make me be ok to see them again next season, if that makes sense.

No... I'm up to the episode after the husbands had a little altercation. Good to hear that Heather barking was just that... barking. I knew she would be humbled. I want to see more of that. Bronwyn is SUCH A WIN. I just adore her. She and Mary are my top 2 in the cast right now. Little girl and Heather need a little time-out. Both are acting too much and NOT GOOD acting.

Meredith has been more controlled so far... Lisa is just... borderline personality disorder. Scary, but entertaining.

The season is very binge-able and balanced. The first 2 episodes were the weakest moment. Then it gets better and better with the new girls being a breath of fresh air.

It’s fun to see someone watching season 5 now. It was such a fun ride and I would comfortably put it up there with some of the best seasons of any franchise. That’s how entertained I was every single episode.

I always appreciate any and all Heather hate who I’ve seen through since season 1 and especially season 1 reunion.

Heather will never in my eyes be anything more than a Jen Sha groupie... I had empathy for her and appreciated her till a point where she got it in her head that she's the protagonist and the storyteller of the whole show. I don't know who lied to her and told her that she can be a great narrator - she isn't. In my opinion. And this season she is worse than ever... playing this role of a I'M-SO-REAL and I-M-GONNA-DEFEND this group from outsiders... and I DON'T TRUST ANYONE...

All while she is OPENLY manipulative and two faced and constantly pits people against each-other while wanting to stay clean.

Bitch... we SEE through you.

AND MARY said to perfectly - you leave a trail of LIES.

I also can't say enough good things about Bronwyn. Yes, she's a bit over the top, yes, she want attention and her costumes thing is a bit too infantile... but when BISH is serious - she's just amazing. I don't want to see too much of that funny side. I like her serious side better. I instantly clicked with her.

Britani - at first I thought she was an idiot, but now... I just love her. She is REAL. She's the least scripted of all the housewives, even though I feel someone motivates her to constantly share her personal life. But she is raw and authentic more than some of these other bitches.

WOOF... that man in the middle. JESUS. HOOOT. WHO IS HEEEE

P.S

I'm up to the episode where Bronwyn's husband acted incredibly rude with her in front of her new friend.

I MEAN - IF MY HUSBAND TELLS ME DONE...

DONE.

DONE.

Repeats it 3 times...

He'll get a drink in his face. IF HE IS LUCKY.

Bronwyn's bad look is her husband. I am not vibing with this man.

I read that she said the pics of Britt were underage - was that it, or something else to it?  I did see she and Kenya are kind of feuding about it on social media now, which is sad because I enjoyed how they got close this season.

Porsha is an idiot adn its not even worth entertaining her accusations. She is directly contradicting some of the things Brit is saying. I think she's lying and causing problems with her cast to deflect from her own issues and as clickbait for her new YT channel. It sucks bc I finally got mysel to a point of genuinely liking her but she's the same Porsha and I cant say I see it for her anymore

It wasn't underage, but yes Porsha said it. She also claimed that someone on the current cast ( I think some claim Angela) gave Kenya the pictures...which is silly cuz if someone did the REUNION would be the perfect time to drop that bomb. Why kill what momentum this season has with this info? I can't. Given she had to delete her stuff per Bravo, I can only assume Bravo is P.O.

Same. Killing her own momentum. And Bravo does not even seem to be pleased.

But knowing that, I really want to know...especially since I'm behind on at least two of those soaps lol due to work and faulty technology...how would you all grade May Sweeps this time?   A     B     C     D     F       To paraphrase Dani Dupree...the hottest level of Hades...?   How did you like Sweeps?
    • 5-26   My system went down, but thankfully is back up. It's a shame that if I missed something, I just don't care. So May Sleeps indeed. smh.    That said...I found this episode intriguing. Yeah, it had a LOT of the characters that I didn't care about. And I know @slick jones probably glared seeing his man around that girl,

but I will give credit where it's due.    It must be a sign there is about to FINALLY be story movement when we start to get artistic camera angles again...something that has been absent for a while. The overhead sweeping into the scene at the start of the episode? LOVE. Good to see Ed Scott is still around somewhere. And I loved what Phyllis had on and Amanda in the red. Claire continued to have her own style and Holden continued to look hot. And I continue to be in awe that the designer is trying her darnest to get Kyle from looking so stuffy but still keep him suited.    Everything Audra continued to intrigue. And I continue to feel that Kyle is totally going to fall into her trap because he is much too cocky. Holden is a great wild card, but I don't like him hinting that perhaps Audra actually have feelings for Kyle. THAT boat has sailed and would have been better used when Summer was around. Besides I love Audra with Nate.   Phyllis vs Sally will always be awesome. And they were both giving great lines.    I could care less for Billy.

    • -- I agree that the vibes are there, but I can also make the case that it's a pale imitation. That Neil Winters Lounge is already a pretty classy place, but the decor make it look tackier. Those Happy Birthday signs are tragic in design and color. The tablecloths look like they've been chosen by Helen Keller. Where is Claire? We hear stupid reasons for her lateness, but we all know it's because this show is too cheap to pay for too many actors in any one episode. It makes NO sense that Victoria has that toast to Nikki without Claire's presence. And where is Cole? Off coughing somewhere? -- The rest of the show was watching people open their black invitations from Alexander Dumas -- for a party on June 13...TWO WEEKS AWAY. So we got through the entire sweeps and still no Dumas? The big sweeps reveal is a party in France in 2 weeks??? Why anyone thinks this is good soap is beyond me.
    • Chandler Massey smirked in EVERY scene in which he appeared. He's not a good actor. He cannot get into character, ever, and plays every scene like he's Chandler running into an old friend on the street. I hate it because actors should take their work seriously and respect it and everyone around them.   It's all so real, to the point where there's no sense trying to separate Drake from his character. I snarked a lot over the years about Drake Hogestyn's acting -- very arch, lots of tics, over-the-top at times -- but I also think he was a great soap star. There was so much humanity in everything he did, and he was always a comforting and stabilizing force on screen. Flashbacks on soaps are almost always special and fun, but does anyone come across as more loving and filled with humanity than John? I don't think so. DAYS has suffered a lot of loss in the past few years. For me, this one hits the hardest.
    • “I’m not a lifelong soap fan, but I sure am now,” Wolf tells PEOPLE about creating the documentary Soaps, which includes deep dives into the biggest and most successful soap operas in the industry, with a strong focus on The Bold and the Beautiful. “It reflects, in a broader way, the cultural significance of soap operas and the incredible task involved in bringing these stories to the screen every day.”
    • I have this for the 4th act on 11/9/88, which per my files, is the first time John and Stefano are in a scene together: Limo (Roman, Diana, Stefano, Milo) Then their second time together is 11/17/88 in the second-to-last act: ON LOCATION: Beach & Cliff (Diana, Roman, Stefano) I'd have to check the 2016 logs, so I don't know who shares scenes as easily in this year, but these are the last 4 episodes that John and Stefano were both in together: 1/8/16, 1/11/16, 3/1/16, 3/2/16.
    • I'm going to respond to you about this show. I've been accused of hating on it for some reason or another. But as a 53-year-old black man I do not hate this show at all. It heavily represents people like me, but I want it to be treated well and not just pushed with half-assedness, which is what I feel has happened on several occasions so far. Bad editing, bad cliffhangers, or no cliffhangers at all, disappearing characters with dropped storylines, etc. I can understand shows no longer wanting certain characters or  storylines, but why the "Judy Winslow" effect? I'm really finding it weird that Jacob doesn't mention his father or his detective partner. Jacob was smack dab in the middle of them both.
    • I love many things about BTG very much. For me, it's greatest strength is how the family relationships are so beautifully written. The deep love between family members while acknowledging each other's flaws--it's SO GOOD.  The best of the best is the two sister relationships: loving but very different sisters Dani and Nicole and adversarial sisters Kat and Eva. These two relationships can anchor the show for many years to come, in my opinion. (The one caveat is that the young and very talented Colby and Ambyr may want to leave the show sooner rather than later, but that's to be expected). My biggest problem with this show is this: Where are the romantic love stories? Where are the star-crossed lovers? Almost every character on this show is married, or in a committed relationship, or just fooling around. Right now the only potential for this are in the Ashley/Andre/Derek and Kat/Tomas/Eva situations. Like a lot of people, I feel the sooner they ditch Ashley and Derek, the better. I hate picking on actors, but the characters are so blah and bland it's like they're a parody of soap characters. I like Andre, and there's some indication they might have him become more serious about Dani, but I don't see that becoming a big love story. I could be wrong. Kat and Eva fighting over a man would be amazing. Over Tomas? No.  I've noticed on social media some people are starting to ship Kat and Jacob. I think that shows how much viewers long for a messy love story. There is much I enjoy about BTG and I have no intention of bailing on it. But over all my many years of watching soap operas, the thing that always got me the most excited about them was the question: "When are those two finally going to get together?"
