I think part of it is that OLTL has no idea how to write for Jessica normally since the recast and the DID, and BW is uncomfortable playing a regular heroine; I think the other part is that ABC/Frons loves seeing Bree in "crazy, wild" stories and keeps asking for them. Each party involved has taken numerous opportunities to [!@#$%^&*] Jessica up over the years. It's not an excuse anymore.

That said I am hoping this is, as YurSoakinginit suggests, this is just a riff on Viki's '80s amnesia and that it leads her back to Brody in the end.

I can't believe someone didn't put a kibosh to this idea in its inception.

wow. so they are taking an already fragile victimized women with a mental issue and making her more of a victim and giving her further mental issues only to send her back to to highschool and i assume victimize her more and play it for comedy beats. pathetic.

I love Jessica and Natalie's sisterly bond and ordinarily I'd say no this idea; however it would be a better story than another mental illness trip.

HAHA that's a point IN All Her Children Agnes talks about how she had to tone down the script writer's dialogue when Erica was in Oakhaven and nothave Mona sound quite as upset about the shocktherapy as it was written.
