Y&R: Episodes discussion, week of August 17

At the risk of sounding like a 'fanboi', I thought "the Aussie" did an excellent job today. (And evidently I'm not the only one who thinks so. ;) )

The reason you only see positive comments about TS over at SOC is because if you say anything remotely negative about Tammin's acting (which is her craft) or critique her performances in episodes you get deleted. However, you seem to be free to say anything negative about any other actors without being censored. Tammin seems protected not only at Y&R/Sony but also at SOC.

If any good will come out of Colleen being killed off, it's that we won't have to put up with anymore discussion about Tammin. This b!tch was never important to the writers of this show, on two seperate writing regimes, yet discussion about her took up immense space on various boards.

You can say THAT again.

I actually cried during that final scene with Paul and Patty. I have a close relationship with my brother so it really hit close to home with me. That was heartbreaking. I totally fell into that scene like it was real. So, if they could keep those two together for a while, without overrunning it, they should.

And I really hope they continue on this Victoria Newman's a bitch angle they got going. Despite the Deacon crap, it's good to have a character who's impulsive, smart, bitter and angry on this soap. I'm starting to dig AH now. She needs a better rival, though. The Fresh Face of Sydney ain't workin'. Obviously, we'd have to see AH in a business setting for the full Vicki Newman effect to occur, which most likely won't happen, but still.

And I too nearly groaned aloud when Tammin pointed to her temple. Dear Lord, that was brilliant, Tammin. Brilliant!!

You must be a poster at SOC (J/K):lol: since they only allow posters to her praise but especially when she doesn't deserve any...

I have to disagree with those who are critical of CK for not shaving her head for this storyline. I probably wouldn't do it either if I were her.

I really don't care whether or not she shaved her head, it's her lifeless acting that I have a problem with. Although if I were making the dough she's making, I'd make the sacrifice.

You promise?!? I hope that I never hear nor see anything of her again. Ever!

Sean Kanan is only recurring and he said they never offered him a contract, which tells me he might not be around too much longer. Which would be the best thing, IMO. They've totally botched this character.

Thank Goodness, I can't stand the Deacon Character..........wacko.gif

[DeeeDee] Eh. No. [/DeeeDee]

Constructive criticism of any actor is allowed at SOC, including Tammin. Malicious, inflammatory bitching is not. I counted two negative comments about her portrayal in that thread alone (one of which is from you, shockingly enough).

Thanks for thinking of me but it wasn't I who posted about Tammin. I haven't posted there in a long time--I don't like being censored or deleted.

My mistake. It was the other one.

I assume you're referring to me? Sorry, but me? Do you think I'd actually last at that stupid site but I do like to read the idiotic posts. Some of them are so off the wall they sound uneducated. I suppose you think there are only a few people who prefer AL to TS?
