Members BadBoy93
i cant believe after all these years she still has a job. You can tell that her emmy speeches are apalling. Her work is evil and sexiest to women. If she leaves GH i will celebrate. And then Guza can lighten his act. Before Phelps came on Guza was a decent writer who wrote decent storylines if i recall. Members Carolyn1980
Wow....um....I think you might just be taking this whole "daytime" thing a little too seriously. ETA: Now that Toups has edited out the part of your post where you hoped JFP dropped dead soon, my response doesn't make sense anymore, really. Oh, well. Members DRW50
Guza wasn't a decent writer before her. The baby Michael saga, which destroyed or severely damaged countless characters and drained the life out of the show for years, was his baby long before JFP showed up. And so was the utterly sickening Jason worship and the slo-mo porn shots of shootouts.
Members CSF
Actually GH was pretty decent under JFP and McTavish. Everything on GH since 2002 is what Guza loves best and Frons loves Guza. JFP is an exceptional producer, she is phenomenal. Granted, she can be a b!tch and throw her weight around, but under a good head writer, she produces a show of gold. Let's not forget that Guza started penning that awful garbage under Riche and Wendy Riche and Guza did not see eye to eye on things. Put JFP with a real writer with a real vision and GH would have a heart again.

Members ian
JFP fires people for being pregnant, and right off the bat went up to Lesli Kay, and told her "If you think GH will be your place to shine, it never will be." So, you're a recast. You want to try your best to step into a role, and you're told right off the bat you won't ever be a scene stealer, implicitly, because they're too focused on the mob. Then, when Lesli told her that she was pregnant, JFP says "Your fate is in God's hands now." I'm quoting Lesli from the board (Not sure if that post is on the current board or a previous board) and for the record I've talked to this woman on the phone and know it is the REAL LK, and would stake my reputation on it. So, the above isn't hearsay and I'd trust LK's word. Please register in order to view this content Best Emmy Clip ever... God Bless You Eric Braeden (I think he was drunk out of his mind honestly) PLUS JFP starts running her mouth and totally gets cut off at the end. Members JackPeyton
JFP is NOT the problem with GH. She may be a part of it, but a very small part.

Members CSF
I don't think she really caused trouble at Santa Barbara. The only thing she did at GL that hurt the show was killing off Maureen and she's admitted it was one of the the biggest mistakes of her career. I think AW and OLTL were already problematic when she arrived at both shows. As for GH, had she been given a better writer who wasn't invested in destroying everything sacred to GH, it would be a highly competitive show. Members ian
I think I'd sum it up as: She's good at what she does but I'd never want to work for her.
