Boy,am I getting tired of Crimson Lights!

it's ridiculous to see Paul,Michael and Heather doing business there.

Exactly. Have all of their offices been taken down?

The whole Mary Jane story, with Victor paying for surgery and planting her with Jack completely fizzled.

It was such a promising story and ended up total crap.

Where are Noah,Eden,Abby,Lauren?

Just as long as Eden is in the equation, who cares about Noah? Also, Abby is useless as well.

Lauren will be making an appearance as Paul's and Nikki's wedding approaches.

IMO, you all need to lay off this.

His speech hasn't really bothered me, his acting has, but since I got an un-intended laugh out of the muffin of rage and thought others might as well, I shared. No offense intended.

CC doesn't work on my tv, the original remote died and the universal remotes don't have the option.

I totally forgot to ask last week:

Did Mac and Billy do the dirty deed at that damn trailer last week? Did they finally consumate their relationship and all we saw was them make out on the couch for two seconds? After like ten years of them being apart and finally being able to do something they'd probably been thinking about since high school our pay off is three seconds on a couch in a trailer and utterly NO skin?!??!?!

Bullocks.

I think we saw Billy with his shirt off, briefly, when he got out of bed or the couch to answer the phone.

Even the show seems to realize this relationship is going nowhere. Billy has been VERY awkwardly shoved back into the Abbott stories (and his presence sticks out like a sore thumb -- I wish Billy Miller could remember how to play scenes with other actors where there's a give and take, I think he shares so many scenes with weak actors now that he has sort of lost his way), while Mac is trying to help MJ. Meanwhile, the real story still seems to be about other people. Cane. Chloe/Chance. It's just a placeholder relationship with Mac and Billy. Not once would I believe they have real feelings for each other. Yet, after the way he porked Sharon over and over, even the night before his wedding, I also can't believe Billy has any feelings for Chloe.

Their younger set is a horrible mess.

They should have kept Raul around.

From the preview (didn't know where else to post), looks like

Mary Jane and Zapato's encounter will air Monday in US.

God, today's episode was a disjointed mess, with TOO MUCH going on, rushing, and some really piss poor written scenes. No surprise, two of the worst writers on this show were invovled in this episode - Jay Gibson and Lisa Connor. But I'm sure anyone could have botched such sh!tty material.

Again, they're treating Colleen as if she isn't related to Ashley, and again, Ashley's so easily persuaded by Victor on all things, it's disgusting. Are these idiot head writers purposely wrecking this character?

And here we go again with the Billy OVEREXPOSURE. He was with Jill, Mac, and at Newman Enterprises all in one episode! Seriously, they need to get over their hard-on for this character. We get it, he's your new golden boy, but move the hell on already.

Those scenes with a sugary sweet Amelia Heinle begging Victor to ask JT to take his job back made me want to gag. Where is the real Victoria? Sigh.

I don't even have to tell you how sick I am of this QUAD FROM HELL. All four of them are pathetic losers lacking any personality. Those Nick/Phyllis scenes are so rushed and recycled. Didn't Nick feed that "I love you and we should be together" speech to Sharon a few weeks ago? With this much flip-flopping, WHO CARES!?!? Again, Maria and Company are trying to please every fanbase in this quad way too fast and it's wrecking all of these characters. They're trying to please Shick fans by having Sharon carry Nick's daughter, and they're trying to please Phick fans by having that couple renewing their vows. This pandering to fanabses of this quad has got to stop. Poor Jack is the one who is left out in the cold and horribly neutered. Where is the REAL Jack Abbott? Like, Jill, they don't even seem to care about him.

Nick proposing to Phyllis wasn't romantic or sweet, because I know Phyllis is too good for this sh!t. Nick doesn't deserve Phyllis OR Sharon - yet both women are crazy for this dude in ways I can't explain.

OK, are they purposely trying to f.uck over this Phillip III storyline? Again, we get a set of botched and hallow scenes between Chance and Phillip III where nothing really happens and very little emotional depth is explored. This storyline is botched overall and continued to botched in the day to day writing too.

Phillip III continues to be an unlikeable ass, especially in those scenes with Jill. Poor Jill, they haven;t given Jess Walton a real storyline of her OWN in years, and now she's merely here to prop her idiot sons and to give some thankless verbal assaults to Katherine, Nina, and Chole. Like Melody, who did Jess piss off at this show?

Can JT cheat on Podtoria with Mac please? JT and Mac have more chemistry than Mac and Billy and JT and Victoria. But please idiot head writers, develop that SLOWLY.

Oh, and didn't both Victor and Podtoria say one of the reasons they wanted Colleen off the Newman Board was because she's the Face of Jabot?

So, how is having Ashley ABBOTT (I don't care if she just married Victor and she's not John Abbott's biological daughter), who is an owner of Jabot, a chemist for the company, and the daughter of John Abbott not a conflict of interest? These idiot Head Writers.

The way it played out on the screen, it seemed that once Billy got what he wanted from Mac the writers just stuck him in another storyline. It seems that he is Victor's rival (and the Abbott family savior) now that Jack is too busy being Sharon's whipping boy. I know people love Billy and hate Cane, but my god, Billy is such whiner!

Their younger set is a horrible mess.

The only part of the younger set that truly annoys me is the scoobie part of it. Two members are criminals, one really should be on another show, and I think once his year is up, Graz is going to leave. They write the scoobies as if they were teenagers and the teenagers they have aren't being used. So that makes sorasing Abby and Noah pointless.

They should have kept Raul around.

Raul's return really was pointless. I wished he would have interacted with Jt as well, during the later years I thought that Jt was more Raul's friend than Billy.

Somebody is burning up about that cancer storyline.

http://www.yrnews.biz/daze/073009daze.htm

Those are great points. I like the story more than they do, simply because I think the fantasy atmosphere suits CK better than showing her vomiting or losing her hair, but I hate how much of the story is dominated by the men in her life. Her cancer is all about them. We got more attention to Neil weeping over losing his last connection to Dru than we have to Lily's own private pain and fear.

Her supporting Cane doesn't make her love Billy any less.

But it does.

Jill would rather love & support a stranger than fix her relationships with her REAL sons.

This doesn't even feel like Billy to me anymore, the character seems so much different than the guy David Tom played. It's not Miller's fault, the writing is really failing this character.

It doesn't help that he's become overexposed at the expense of others too.

Exactly.

Billy's endless whining and bad attitude are why I am sick of him. Billy only cares about being a victim or only cares about making himself look good. He doesn't care about taking responsibility or making an effort at anything. That's one of the reasons I thought him riding to Colleen's charge (after he'd ignored her for most of the year and after she'd already lost her board seat) was absurd. What is there to invest in with this character?

It would certainly help if there was some type of family relationships to draw on but there aren't any. This show's only idea of family seems to be people hurting each other or rehashing the same arguments. So we get all this of Billy or Phillip yelling at Jill. The quieter moments, the moments with more warmth or closeness, those are much shorter and often feel tacked on.

I agree about JT and Raul. I don't think they had any idea of who Raul was besides, "He dated Mac the last time she was on the show." That was it. He came back to make Billy feel awkward. Then we had the instaengagement and he's gone within a month.

I don't think it's either/or for Jill. I think she would like to be close to all her sons. I don't think cutting her ties to Cane would make a difference, because she had big problems with Billy before Cane ever existed. I think in some way it's easier for Phillip and Billy to see Jill in the worst light, and she's probably not going to change this, because of her own baggage.

Have her sons done anything to fix their relationship with her or do they just tell her what a bad mother she is and whine?

I'm asking since I'm not sure if they had or if I just missed it.
