It just clutters the board. Every other show has either a weekly or monthly thread, I don't see why this one is so special it warrant a daily thread. Unlike the people who post in the weekly threads for "every other show", most of the AMC regulars are more comfortable discussing in Daily threads because they tend stay on topic and are easier to find.
