I really like MM. He really captivates me. I find that I can't help from notlooking away from the screen when he's on, waiting to see what he'll do next. He seems to be expressing a complex combination of emotion a lot better than CE did too.

I cannot believe TPTB made me hate Nick and Sharon. God damn them!! I've loved this couple when they slept with random people, even when Morrow and Case were really bad actors and now they're so vapid, they're nauseating. God, this is like Lily all over again. Dammit!!!! It should be a joy to see when people are happy on soaps, at least for the first few weeks of reconciliation. Not bored or disgusted.

Get out of my head!! I completely agree with you on both fronts. I liked CE a lot, but there is something about MM that just does it for me. I find him tons sexier than CE.

And I also could not agree more on N&S and my anger with TPTB on how this reunion has been done. Not that I've ever been their biggest fan even, but their first reunion after Cassie's death should have been a good one. Even if it was short lived it should have been good, not this horrible, sappy parody.

Ooh, I love those cliffhangers!!

Kinda pissed it's Nick's but maybe this was better in the long run.

Mary Jane

And I like how MM touches his screen partners. It's very effective. Damn! If he hadn't killed that damn baby, I'd be all of Adam being vengeful. And his monologue about why he was doing this should've been stated six months ago, or whenever it was revealed and obviously repeated every other week dammit.

Yeah, I think he's sexier too. He's more of a man. Physically, neither are hot like Morrow, but I don't think that's a problem.

I wonder if it was their intention to make this N&S reunion so wrong.

I also liked Mac and Billy today. Chemistry is still off but it was classic soap for Chloe to not only walk in but to spill the beans to Mac that Billy slept with Sharon. Nice!!

So, now they give us a scene where Adam talks about Hope/to her? God, talk about sh!tty pacing and not knowing when things should occur.

I like MM so far, for his first week, I think he's doing OK. It should be better once he gets settled into the pace of daytime better.

Blah to Patty Jane and Summer's convenient peanut allergy causing her to snap into a coma. Don't care about Shick, don't care about Phick especially, and don't care what the hell happens to that overall quad. Summer could die and this story still wouldn't have any sympathy or significance from my view.

Whatever to Adam and Rafe, those two characters were used sporadically together and now we're to believe Rafe has deep feelings for Adam too? A crush I would understand alone, but this feelings bull is too much to believe. This storyline is going to bomb hard, I can feel it in my bones.

Once again, this show is hollow and a mess. Blech.

And since we know the spoiler about what Sharon does next week, it makes that scene today with her saying that Cassie left her and Nick one last gift by making the baby theirs even more absurd. So, this was a happy gift from Cassie, and Sharon's going to

of Summer's coma? This is some Passions sh!t.

Yeah, they're writing this like a primetime show, that's the problem with the pacing and general storytelling. They have a lot of good characters. They just don't know how to present them in this medium correctly IMO.

No!! I don't know what happens next week. Come on!! Spoiler tag that please!

Then they shouldn't be writing for a daily serial. This is a farce, and so stupid on their part. Daytime is not and never should be primetime. Sheffer and Hamner have never gotten that, MAB is just boring and has little television writing experience period.

Relax, the most important thing is wrapped up in a spoiler tag.

    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?

    • Now this strikes me as funny. I have it up on my acct. The thing is I only have S2. Didn't want either 1 or 3.  Perhaps I should just list all of these that I have up.  Parodies: Dirty Sexy Money, Filthy Rich Incomplete: The Monroes, All That Glitters, Falcon Crest (have all just not all up), Once & Again S2 only Complete: Models Inc, Pasadena, Pacific Palisades, Paper Dolls, Flamingo Road
    • This is wonderful! Thank you for posting this! I loved the first two seasons and never got to see the final season when they cancelled the DVD release. I've been hoping this popped up on streaming but no luck. Happy I'll finally get to see how it ended!

    • In case it is of interest to anyone here, I have digital copies (computer files, mp4 etc.) of all of the episodes. And, besides having the files they are all up on my usual video hosting site, acct name: shallotpeel, channel it is in: Primetime Soaps and file names like  Flamingo Road S1E15 Hurricane Flamingo Road was a primetime soap on NBC by Lorimar Productions. 2 seasons. 1980-1982. Morgan Fairchild, Barbara Rush. Developed by Rita Lakin.
    • Arguably DAYS OF OUR LIVES has been brilliant lately & definitely was last week. But, here I am with nitpick & technicalities. This was the only misstep but it was just a stupid thing that should have been caught. Deidre Hall as Marlena has this one problematic line, "It didn't matter how many identities you had, I always knew exactly who you were, you were the man who saved my life." - Marlena, DAYS, 6-2-25 Unfortunately the flashback closest to it was when Marlena was on the phone, terrified because she thought he was Stefano. Yes, it's true that the line is not accurate. There were many times when she did not feel the way she is claiming because of whatever was going on in story with his 'retconned to hell & back' identity & origin story. Does it keep the whole week from being called excellent? Nope.
