May 24, 200916 yr Member A previous position that gave him lots of airtime and juicy material to work with. And he just so freely threw it away! Again, the unemployment line is where he belongs. Nobody belongs in the unemployment lines.
May 24, 200916 yr Member Last time I checked it was our time to waste speculating about other roles for Engen so why do any of you care what we say or post? Edited May 24, 200916 yr by Ann_SS
May 24, 200916 yr Member Chris engen will not work in daytime again. The legal ramifications alone will kill his career in daytime so it is futile to even think that another soap will hire him.
May 24, 200916 yr Member Last time I checked it was our time to waste speculating about other roles for Engen so why do any of you care what we say or post? You're right! Speculate away! Just like some of us will speculate that he will not work on any other show. It doesn't bother me that some of you post that he'd be perfect for a new soap role.
May 24, 200916 yr Member But CE does!!!! IDA... Maybe playing the role as the face behind the mask of "Burger King" on the Burger King commercials, but not the unemployment line. No one deserves to be without a job.

May 24, 200916 yr Member Um, no. If the reason why he left because he wouldn't do something that was written in the script, he doesn't deserve to get ANY kind of acting job.

May 24, 200916 yr Member I have a lawn that can use some grooming. I like(d), Chris Engen, but since he walked out of the role, I don't see the point of even speculating another role for him to walk out of. Plus, if he disliked Y&R so much, does he think the writing on ABC soaps is going to be any better? I say give another fresh face actor a chance, Engen had his chance, so now let's move along...
May 24, 200916 yr Member I doubt CE is going to be working anywhere for a while, which is too bad because I think he's very talented. I'll grant that under different circumstances, he would have made a great Joey. Oh well. As for Joey & Kevin, how about Jeff Branson as Joey and Daniel Cosgrove as Kevin with Gina Tognoni returning as Kelly? (Though I would always be happy to see Dan Gauthier return as Kevin). I don't know if Blake Berris wants to return to soaps but he would also make a fun quirky Joey.
May 24, 200916 yr Member Uh, Chris Engen play gay-friendly soap pioneer Joey? No. He'd quit as soon as someone said two words: "Billy Douglas." Edited May 24, 200916 yr by Vee

May 24, 200916 yr Member Maybe Berris could be CJ, Sarah's brother? How old are Joey and CJ supposed to be anyway?
