I felt bad for Estella today. Now everyone knows that Ash isn't losing her mind, but Adam isn't stopping, so I have to wonder what his plan is? Is he trying to stress Ashely out to the point of losing the baby?

I really hope not because that would bring Adam dangerously close to the corner with no hope of escape.

Yeah, and if that theory is even close to what's going to happen, this is more trouble than I thought. :D

I actually agree.

I actually agree.

This is a make or break storyline for this regime. If this flops, then they're all automatically "hacks" in my book. Why would they even attempt something like this, and how could something like this come off feasible at all?

When or if it bombs, I'll start the thread Sylph wants me to start. ;)

ON THE OTHER HAND... while this could be a jump-the-shark moment....

I cannot deny this is as energized and excited as I have been about the show in a long time. I literally CANNOT WAIT to see it.

And what if it doesn't?

Interesting question.

Can you admit it, if it works?

You say that about just about anything on this show, it was Mary Jane two weeks ago, and now it's this?

I love ya Mark, but you're a true fanboi. :)

Interesting question.

I can, and you better know I'll be watching it very closely.

And what if it doesn't?

I'll gladly admit I was wrong for being a pessimistic.

How are they going to fix this without being too absurd?

And Tricia Cast might stay!

I think she said she'd only do regular recurring, since she lives in Nashville. But they need her there for the longterm if they want to tell this story properly, I think.

But we say Phillip III die, so how are they going to fix this without being too absurd?

Maria's fixed the rest of LML's mistakes plausibly.

This one shouldn't be too much of a stretch.

Depending on how things go she may change her mind.

Tonya too.

So many questions, so little answers I guess we'll have to see. They could have easily undo Cane was Phillip III without brining Phillip III back from the dead, if this is indeed him. But would that have had any emotional effect? Who knows...

I guess we'll have to see how all of this works out.

Yes, it could have had a huge emotional effect on Jill. Jill just realizes she's a total bastard with no mother and father and then realizes her dead son is really dead after all. There would be so much depth in that. And then when

Phillip IV

enters the picture...

Honestly, I'd go up higher in this thread and read all the "blackened" stuff.

Also, some good updates and deeper treatments can be found at Nelson Branco

http://tvguide.sympatico.msn.ca/The+Suds+R...n_NB.htm?isfa=1

and a review of P3's history is found at DC

http://daytimeconfidential.com/2009/05/the...-chancellor-iii

I answered this with my "out there" theory, remember?

Thanks MarkH!!!

I just read on another site that Bierdz said the storyline

could have something to do with his sexuality.

I hope Jill kills Cane or something after she finds out the truth about him.

CANE MUST DIE!

CSF, put spoiler tags around

Phillip IV

. There are people who don't want to be spoiled.

I hope Jill kills Cane or something after she finds out the truth about him.

CANE MUST DIE!

And accidentally puts Lily in a coma (ironic, since her acting could be described as coma-inducing).

Well, I guess I have to give them credit for picking up LML's dropped story. They could've easily looked passed that scene from the Latham era and continue to want us to believe that Cane is really Phillip III, but they didn't.
