Nick too, actually. They just dont seem to work for many watching the show anymore. Then, with Spectra falling apart someone buys the company. Nobody knows who but they start rebuilding it, and everyone is wondering who is it? whos behind this? a mystery for a few weeks if you will... then... Lauren Fenmore returns to LA as the new owner of Spectra. Not long after her son Scotty comes along and can be tangled up in with bridgett & even steffy. I don't think Amber is going soon, though she would make sense, given the NB interview. But, I have written this independently, Gloria was BORN TO RUN SPECTRA. Lauren needs to run a legitimate fashion house, although she was a great co-conspirator for Sally. But the actually RUNNER of the house MUST be Gloria. It MUST. No one can replace Darlene Conley, but Gloria/Chapman could totally do the sneaking, the disguises, the over-the-top stuff, the lust for young men. Part of what many people are hating about Gloria on Y&R is that she was BUILT for B&B. That is no surprise, since Jack Smith (with his B&B DNA from all his years on that show) made Gloria. I would accept this without complaint, because I would not lose Gloria that way. Michael and Kevin...I don't really see them fitting on B&B. I think they're fine on Y&R, but I may be the only one. That said, with Gloria and Lauren in LA, I don't think the Baldwin/Fisher boys would serve much point. Like, I wanted Andrea Evans to play both Amber's mom Tawny AND Paul's sister Patty...but that seems shot now, doesn't it. So, GLORIA as the new owner of SPECTRA, restored to its glory as a KNOCKOFF HOUSE, with Gloria in OVER-THE-TOP SCENARIOS AND DISGUISES...I guess that will never happen. (Although, you know, Jack Smith might be open to the idea...) Another thought about that "Brad Lauren" pic. You know, when Lauren went to B&B, she met Bill Spencer (Sr.) and said "you look strangely familiar". Which was funny since the actor had played Neil Fenmore before. I have made it nos ecret tho that her time has come and gone and she needs to leave Y&R. However, Gloria in B&B? No! Do you have any idea how over the top it would be? Not in a funny or enduring kind of way like i find it on Y&R. In a OTT Cartoonish wtf is the point of this kind of way, and IMHo, JC deserves more than that. You could argue that Patty, still living as Tawny, received plastic surgery during that time. Therefore, she still could be Paul's sister and Amber's mother...just...not played by Andrea Evans.
