Great. Just when she couldn't be more annoying, Gloria's blind now, too!

But then they proceed to eat her tongue, so at least she can't talk anymore!

OMG, I can just see it now! A spin-off:

THE MUMMY: GLORIA'S RESSURECTION

Have I unleashed a monster???

True...but that doesn't stop her from "signing" us to death!

Jack as Sharon's refuge in the storm makes me swoon even though I'm not a huge Sharon fan. I love the way he is supporting her and accepting her even though she's screwed up right now.

I give ALL the credit for Y&R's turn around to Sheffer. MAB was horrendous before. The show was boring and her Sabrina/Victor love was yucky. Whatever problems Hogan has brought is overshadowed by Y&R finally being interesting and having story pace once more. Kudos to Hogan.

The same happened at ATWT. Sheffer was supposed to have saved the show, but then everything fell apart within a year. He had problems with not allowing his love for antiheroes/controlling and cold men to choke the canvas, and I think the same has happened with Victor's story, where most of the people around him are too feeble to be any type of believable alternate viewpoint. I also think the confused writing for Billy has undermined his character, and taken away the few bonds he had which made him less unsympathetic. I don't mind watching unsympathetic characters, but unsympathetic, shallow, and aimless are harder to take. I wish they'd left him out of the story with Sharon.

The pacing at Y&R is better than last year, better than most other soaps, but still a work in progress. After the poor pacing at ATWT and DAYS during Sheffer's stints I might give Rauch more credit than Sheffer or MAB.

Victor's plan with Jill should've amounted to something more than it did, as should his potential hiring of Billy. I hated how Billy came to his house earlier this week and didn't even consider using him in another capacity. Victor is a lot smarter than that, I think.

I did like how he totally didn't even let him in though. He's such an a**hole, and I love it.

Anyway, I hope there's a pay off with this Mary Jane story. I'd like to see Victor get something from at least one of these schemes. Good scheming only work when the motive is very strong and when the schemer gets paid. I want to see Victor get paid for the reputation and livelihood Jack sucked out of him last year. I'm dying to see it.

Did I already mention that I hate Jack? Furiously. The way he looks at Sharon when he pities her or when he's caught in all his lies as if he's a puppy dog who accidentally took a crap on his owner's favorite recliner is nauseating.

Jack should pay!!!

[sheffer] had problems [at ATWT] with not allowing his love for antiheroes/controlling and cold men to choke the canvas, and I think the same has happened with Victor's story, where most of the people around him are too feeble to be any type of believable alternate viewpoint.

They say a hero is only as strong as his antagonist, but I think the opposite is true as well. Yes, I'm glad Victor is back to being his old, cunning, Machiavellian self; but what good does that do when everyone around him is so embarrassingly weak? Where's the real challenge?

I wish they'd left [billy] out of the story with Sharon.

Same here. I've yet to see the payoff or benefits of those having random, drunken, casual sex (and no, Sharon's pregnancy does not count).

Which would make Adam the perfect gaslighter.

Based on past interactions and todays episode I have a strong feeling this is going to pplay into a Billy vs Jack vs Victor vs Adam. My lil theory, not exactly sure how yet but can't wait for them to introduce Adam and Billy

OTOH, I feel sorry for Patty Jane. How can Victor take advantage of the feelings of someone who clearly isn't in her right mind, if she has gone to the trouble of plastic surgery to get back at Jack? If you ask me, I think she'll get hurt long before Victor gets any sort of payback.

Which would Adam the perfect gaslighter.

Exactly. That's why I'm convinced it has to be Adam. He's apparently the only one willing to go to such lengths to get one over on the old man.

lol.... I was sooo worried she was going to get off, as always. I was so glad to see not only the judge rule in favour of the Abbotts, but DOUBLE the damages. And yes, Eileen was fantastic! Gloria just needs now to stay away from the Abbotts..... I can handle Judith Chapman still remaining a part of the show if I must.... just keep her away from the Abbotts! Let this be the end.

And the Newmans...and the Winterses (although, maybe she can help them be less boring)...and the Chancellor-Murphys...and Paul, and Heather, and Cane, and Colleen, and Esther, and Daniel, and Amber, and Patty Jane.

MJ's Collateral damage, as Ashley is to Adam, I'm sure. We'll see how Victor reacts to her instability. Again, I think people aren't giving her enough credit. I'm speculating that she plays crazy cause that's what everyone expects but she knows exactly what she's doing.

Man Y&R would be fantastic if Victor had a formidable opponent. It's too bad Victoria's lost her balls. She should totally go toe-to-toe against Adam.

Even the gaslighting is relatively weak, because Victor's not going to be affected. Women and children are toys to him, he's not going to be shattered if the toys get broken. I'm not sure what would affect Victor now, he's so larger than life, amplified because Ashley, Nikki, and his kids all struggle in his shadow. The real story I would have wanted was making Victor doubt his own sanity.

I still like Jack, although I miss his fangs and his wit. I would be happy if he could be free of Sharon for good.

 well yeah..... I guess I can't deal with her still being on the show! God, one moment of weakness on my part.... I must apologize. Hang the bitch! B)
