I think they should all be going out to a family dinner.... Michael, Kevin, Jana, Eden, Gloria, Jeff... even Baby fen can be int he car. Lauren, stuck at work, says she will meet them there. She arrives at the GCAC and is shocked they are not there. She waits a bit, tries calling, and gets worried as Paul comes rushing in looking for her to tell her the news heather told him. The SUV flipped, they all died.

Lauren has become a criminal in regards to that family too. She's definitely an accessory to the crimes her husband covers up - which she knows all about. Kill her ass too or ship her back to B&B.

I like classic Lauren, but I do not like her with Michael.

I think Y&R is in the strange position of always having to think about newer viewers right now. Their stuff is SO steeped in history, they have to do a lot of explaining for people who don't know the back story. There was a lot of exposition in the Kay/Marge/Clint story to get people up to speed. Sometimes it was done well, sometimes it was clunky and awkward. But they have to find a way to appease both new fans and veteran fans.

And there isn't a word of what you're saying, brimike, that I don't agree with 1000%. However, if the Patty Jane story were being written with newer and older viewers in mind, then the chemistry between Peter Bergman and Stacy Haiduk would be much more palpable, or SH would've been replaced. As it is, IMHO, the only thing that's intriguing about them is what sort of designs PJ has on Jack, and whether or not it ties back to what happened over twenty years ago.

But, they can free Lauren from that family and have her lose everything.

Then rebuild her character into the bitchy buisness women. perhaps who has a thing for the young boys in town. Like she was when she first came back.

Besides people on this show have helped others get away with FAR worse crimes.

A death for Lauren is taking it too far... she should however free J.T. of that Victoria impostor.

[!@#$%^&*]! Jill's a fool is she doesn't hang on to that hunka man from the bar!!! B)B)

That's just a minor guest thing, as far as I know.

I think SH is doing a great job and fits well on the Y&R canvas. I also really like her chem with PB, a very very rare things as i alsmot never think PB has chem with anybody in a romantic way.

No, JT needs to be written out.

JT and Victoria need to move to Italy for business, and in a year or so, a recast Victoria comes back with Reed and has announced she's divorced JT.

I agree.

I loved it when they were toying with Lauren/Raul and Lauren/JT back in the day, after they were out of highschool, but when they were all still hanging around her for some reason, lol. But then they went with Kevin liking Lauren and their date and that led to Lauren/Michael, and that was awesome until The Baldwin-Fishers took over.

They could so go there with Lauren/JT and play up the Victoria/Michael brief history.

I also will always love Lauren/Paul.

OK....so who is Peter Brinckerhoff? He's directing? Haven't seen that name before!:unsure:

He's a longtime LA based soap director. He's directed for many of the LA soaps, this is his first Y&R episode.

Yes, I totally agree. I'm not as bothered by them as others (meaning I can tolerate their scenes), but if they disappeared I really wouldn't care.

Now where is MarkH to defend them?

I'll stand in, although I lack his eloquence. I like the F/B clan. Every soap needs schemers and I like it that Gloria and Kevin are both relatively shameless about it. Michael as the put upon lawyer usually adds some humor for me, but I like it better when he gets down and dirty right along with them. Kevin really could be a great character, but the writing has been spotty.

But we really don't need that much/many of them.
