LOL! I think it's just an air bubble. And a very convenient freeze-frame.

Or maybe I'm just hoping that's all it is. Guy grosses me out. I don't find him the least bit attractive.

My biggest wish list ever is for someone out there to do screencaps from when Doug Davidson's butt was shown on Y&R. I wish the Internet had been around back then for one reason alone so that it could have been captured.

I would love it for 2 reasons.

1) To preserve it as a soap historian since it was the first planned nudity in daytime soaps.

And 2 - just for my viewing pleasure.

Oh and especially right now I don't have any photos of them, but I want to list these anyway. These are some of the great 70's male soap stars who were also so hot shirtless. I am looking for photos of some of them and just can't find them.

Gary Tomlin as Morgan on Another World (he was so hot)

Ray Liotta as Joey on Another World (again very hot)

Wesley Eure as Michael on Days

William Gray Espy as Snapper on Y&R

Nicholas Benedict as Phil on AMC

Christopher Reeve as Ben on LOL (may have a photo of him - I'll look for it)

Richard Guthrie as David on Days

Jameson Parker as Brad on OLTL

They were all so hot and gave this young man lots of happy endings during my teen years.

Does anybody think that Eva is actually redeemable at this point? Because I have no idea where the writers are even going with Leslie & Eva at this point and I really didn't like how Eva acted with Laura the other day. Am I a moron for wanting to believe the best in Eva? I just don't know anymore.

I somehow missed this one when it aired! It does remind me of the one I posted that had Genie Francis and Marcy Walker in it. There were other soap stars in it too. Terror in the Shadows also had Leigh McCloskey and Victoria Wyndham as costars. Makes me think someone knew soap actors would be a draw.

I think had the showrunners not been switched out, I think we would have seen a slower descent for Joshua in season 7 and perhaps the cliffhanger would have been the rooftop confrontation between Lillimae and Joshua.

Not that there wouldn't have been opportunities! For instance, they could've hired George Takei (there's your ST person) as one of Chao-Li's relatives, who was also after the Nazi treasure. Or they could've hired Anthony Daniels and Kenny Baker (a.k.a. C3PO and R2D2) as another team out for the gold (and comic relief for the storyline). Heck, they could've even hired none other "Blofeld" himself, Donald Pleasance, as a sworn enemy of Gustav and his father's, who will stop at nothing, including romancing poor Emma, to keep Riebmann from reclaiming the treasure.

I agree. Especially because it happened so damn quickly, with absolutely no breathing room for him, for Cathy, for all of us.
David Jacobs insisted that was the plan all along, but I doubt it. I think they had every intention of keeping Joshua around for years to come, but Michael Filerman and his ego ruined everything.
I'd still love for someone who was there to explain to us what the original intention was for Empire Valley; was it ALWAYS meant to be revealed as an underground spy network? Because, even if that wasn't how it started, it still feels as if they were leading up to something big. Otherwise, why invest so much time in another real estate development scheme? We'd already been there and done that with Lotus Point.
