I will miss you DaytimeFan. Why not visit once in a while though? I'll certainly miss your insights in the Y&R threads, among other things.

WELL, HELLO.

I'm not DaytimeFan (I miss him lots, tho! Wish he'd come back), but I remembered the Brenda Dickson love on this thread. And you aren't the only ones who adore her: DListed posted these shots of her:

She definitely looks better as a redhead!

Isn't that closer to her natural color anyway? I remember seeing some clips from her first tenure and her hair was a lot lighter than when she returned.

The fact is everyone in the business is vain. The camera absolutely adds 15 pounds (forget 10)...add in an overkill personal trainer, a whacked out nutritionist, a cutting dermatologist (!), a bitch executive producer, a horny head of daytime and BAM the actress stops eating or the actor becomes totally manorexic.

I think a lot of guys let themselves go once they land a steady gig on a soap. Steve Burton is a prime example of this, but also if you look at, say, Tom Pelphrey or Tyler Christopher you'll see they werent in the same shape as they were a few years ago.

Of course the best example of this is Gossip Girl's Ed Westwick, but the less said about that, the better.

Also as guys reach their later twenties, the metabolism slows, and when you mix that with less exercise and smokin' and boozin'... bye bye chiseled pretty boy looks.

Yes, her hair was very close to the color above when she first started Y&R in the '70s.

Susan Flannery. She looks like an old hag, she doesn't need to wear that [!@#$%^&*] cause she's fat, and I cringe everytime I see her shoes with those ugly socks. :(
