April 5, 200916 yr Member I don't think this was reported earlier, last month Lesley Anne Down re-signed with B&B, though she states on her website that "she is very happy to be staying on B&B for another year". What's interesting to me is that LAD only re-signed for a year...I wonder if this is a new strategy at B&B, sign them for a year and then deal 'em down every year after for a renewal?
April 5, 200916 yr Member WHY!? I'd get rid of her, she's not fierce enough and she's tied to a loser of a character.

Flannery will elevate both Down and Wagner. So, I'm now reserving judgement, because before this twist, I would personally have been happy to escort Mr. Wagner out of the building. If only we could get Heather Tom into Flannery's orbit, there might actually be some pieces I would enjoy. Edited April 5, 200916 yr by MarkH

Flannery is NOT enough, Wagner especially drags this show down, and since Jackie is tied to him and let's face it - useless, they BOTH need to go. LAD is just not that good, at all.

April 5, 200916 yr Member Jackie just doesn't provide the fun element many claim she does. I find her annoying and she tries way too hard to be fierce, not natural at all.

After reading what you wrote...I had to think a little bit...and you're RIGHT. She does try too hard which is why even when she's fun, she isn't breezy or enjoyable. It's like "Ohhh Jackie's being naughty!"...but not natural. Very good observation.

Didn't she sign on for a one or two deal the last time as well? I like Jackie/Lesley-Anne Down but her on-screen son is just not needed anymore at all.

April 5, 200916 yr Member I love LAD but the character of Jackie Marrone doesn't work for me. The Forrester competitor should be Brooke. The idea of Brooke running Spectra with her family, Owen and a new C.J. and trying to destroy the Forresters seems more interesting.
April 5, 200916 yr Author Member I don't hate LAD, she seems like a fun person...nor do I really hate Jackie M...but if I could trade her for Lauren Koslow, in a hot second, no questions asked.
April 5, 200916 yr Member I don't hate her; I feel sad for her. She tries so hard, but she just cannot pull this one of the way she should. Jackie needs to go. And Nick can accompany her. A great idea (Marones) went terribly awry. I don't hate LAD, she seems like a fun person...nor do I really hate Jackie M...but if I could trade her for Lauren Koslow, in a hot second, no questions asked.
