Between Stack, Kamar, Talia, B Anus, and Kathy OLTL has already saved over 1.3 million a year.

A wasn't cheap either.

So we are down 6 and up 2 (Real and Daphne, and I guess Stacey counts too) so 3.

I think they are making the right casting moves; the addition of Crystal Hunt doesn't count lol They are quickly writing out the characters that aren't working and the characters who just don't have any story left. I like to think that some of the money that has been saved will keep Florencia on the show.

Nah, i don't think this is truly official yet, but i am sure it is true.

I would say things are a little hopeful on the llanview front.

Thank God! Good Riddance! Maybe the serial kiler will kill Lola, or maybe she'll be found out to be the murderer of her mother and sent off to a Columbian prison. ONE LIFE must be planning on some big new cast members or returns. Hopefully Dan Gauthier(Kevin) will be one of them, and maybe Laura Bonarrigo-Koffman(Cassie) and now that GL is going to get the axe, Gina Tognoni(Kelly). Also it's looking like Réal Andrews(ex-Taggert, GH) is joining the cast in a big role. I wonder who'll he will be playing. I read some speculation that it could be Antonio Vega! If so is Beth-Ann Bonner(Talia) coming back?

OLTL is cleaning house. I wonder when AMC will be doing the same. GH will likely have to let more cast members go also.

I'm not sure if there's story for Cassie or Kelly right now. They'd probably just put them with Todd. I would support a Cassie return if they bring Andrew back full time.

I thought they weren't likely to bring Gauthier back because of some tension or something.

I can see Frons salivating over the prospect of swooping up all of GL's big name talent an then smoking a fat cigar after. I think with all these firings they definitely want to bring in someone who they think can bring up the ratings. I'm not sure if Tognoni's Kelly can do it though.

What is OLTL working on with these two failed attempts at Latin crime families, I mean I'm asking seriously, is the same writer/EP behind the Montezes also responsible for the Santis? I feel like this is their second (failed) attempt at going for a similar sort of s/l or "family type" I should say. It's interesting, just bad execution on both tries.

After the show straightens out the people they've already got, I think the next (hopefully successful) try should be an asian family. Mother, father, siblings, grandma, what have you. Long overdue. And how delicious would it be if Mia Korf was the mama.

The stupidity of the MONTEZ'S (santis part 2) really made me wonder about Carlivati's talent.. It still does. It is the dumbest decision made. It is even dumber than the Santi's because Carlivati knew that that storyline was one of the most disasterous of the year. Lisa lo Cicero said so herself.
