Though her character, Talia Sahid, just met her fate after the Llanview Slasher stabbed her to death, One Life to Live's BethAnn Bonner will be appearing in Primetime!

The episode details have yet to be released, but you can expect to see BethAnn on May 13's "Law and Order!" If that wasn't great enough, you'll never guess what else BethAnn has suddenly found on her plate - as of today, she's started filming on Guiding Light! All BethAnn would let on about this new role is, "Let me just say I will be playing a character that is the complete opposite of Talia."

I guess it's okay. Let her have some fun there before it's canned.

I don't really see how Michelle could be the opposite of Talia unless she's gone full-on mob moll since leaving town. I mean even more hard-core mob moll than she was before.

Good for Beth Ann. She's basically got herself a temp job to tide her over until the fall TV season.

It probably is for new Michelle as SOD is reporting that Paul Anthony Stewart is returning in May as Danny Santos.

GL Star To Return

Digest hears that GL alum Paul Anthony Stewart (last seen on-screen back in 2005) is set to reprise his role as Danny in May. GL confirmed earlier this year that a Michelle Bauer recast was in the works, along with other potential Bauer family returns. In March, Stewart told Digest, "I learned long ago in this business to never say never to anything. If something interesting were presented to me, I certainly would consider it seriously."

I agree, BAB is good so it's nice to hear that she's not giving up.

I like her and will be interested to find out the role. Don't know enough about GL's longterm history to guess well. Since RB played Michelle Bauer, it's hard for me to see BAB in the same role.

If GL is really ending, it would make sense to bring Danny and Michelle back to represent that era of the show. And if it is not ending, it also makes sense as a move to bring back lapsed fans, since Danny and Michelle were a big cast cut of the Ellen Wheeler era.

Michelle doesn't need Danny to be a viable character, in fact, that whole Manny romance sucked the life out of that character (not to mentioned, that role has been miscast with ever actress since Rachel Miner departed).

They don't care about brining back even more popular characters from even more popular eras, why would Danny and Michelle be so important? I'd hardly categorize their time on the show as some great renaissance era.
