Oh my god. How bad is this show? Claudia goes to visit Michael every week?? Great, we never heard about that before hand. Spinelli's on the run, Natalia agrees to live with the Quartermaines, even though just a week ago she wanted nothing to do with Emily and her resemblance to her, Robin (although her storyline is probably one of the better ones) goes to have a drink at the casinos and tells her story to this awful new character, Sonny's ready to take over the business again, what else is going on with this awful show??? Who cares anymore?

I feel bad bashing it but it really has not been good in the past few months and now it's just plain bad. Help!

GH is pure dreck. It is sooo hard to watch. Robin's story and Luke comforting Nikolas were the only decent moments. The person who cast the Ethan character should be forced to interpret for him in every scene. He is getting way too much airtime for someone who is incomprehensible. There are few words for the desperate attempt to redeem Claudia. I do not care that Sonny's ex-criminal employees don't like his mob rule. Someone get NL an acting coach. She is in need.

idk...

im just glad they are off the ShrewLoo is love kick. lol. It use to Lulu and every man between 18-30. Now its Maxie's time. I honestly dont see them doing Matt & Maxie, i hate blaming higher ups but at this point it does seem like Cook was forced onto Guza by frons for a Kirsten/Jason pairing and it just didnt work and Guza isnt doing it.

I thnk GH hit something with Maxie/Spinelli and plans to keep them where they are. Friends, with this deep connection and love for eachother who sometimes cross the line but then pullback. Honestly that can be played for years IF its done right.

Then there is the hotness of JoMax, and thats where they need to go. A Lulu/Johnny/Maxie triangle could be fantastic esp when you factor everyone (claudia, carly, luke, mac, robin, etc...) around them in with the history. Esp if they did it as an emotional affair at first, where Maxie & Johnny fall for eachother. Then have Lulu start to worry Maxie ios trying to steal her man and all that drama. Because IMHO the hurt of an emotional affair would be much bigger and better drama than a one night stand. When Maxie does confess she is in love with Johnny it could crush Spinelli and he could turn to Lulu whos been crushed by johnnys confession hes faling in love with maxie and those two could hit the sheets, or it could send her to... maybe Matt? Ethan if he isnt her 1/2 brother. But then again id want this to play out over a long period and not 2 months. Remeber when Lulu hated Logan, thenf ell in lvoe with him, and then he slept with Maxie cuz f the bet, and they broke up, then got back together in about 3 minutes? one of the most rushed storys ever.

re Claudia: thats trying to whitewash her part in his shooting, IMHO.

re Robin: I think Ethan is going to turn out to be her brother.

I watched today's show because I wanted to see Sarah Brown get a chance to act, not play some vile crazy woman, but I had to laugh when they showed her going to see Michael every day. I know this is supposed to be a sign of how remorseful she is, but if she was that remorseful, she would stay away and let his family care for him.

They also don't seem to want her to show any remorse for leaving Kate to die.

GH has such a weird concept of morality.

I can't believe they had her go by Ms. Quartermaine. Talk about sticking the knife into the fans.

Robin never has mine. Shes the most annoying, whinny, stuck up, self-righteous, judgmental person on soaps. She stands high on her horse and throws stones and judges everyone she feels like, but she can do no wrong. Please. ugh... i really hate her. Tho i am enjoying PPD robin.

And also, im sorry - but opening update please?! PLEASE!

Are you feeling better now that you to that rant off your chest? LOL! I love Robin, but I guess she inspires some kind of weird intense hate in you and some others. it is a good thing that we aren't required to like all the characters. The spoilers about Robin's upcoming behavior due the PPD should make you happy.

I totally enjoyed Matt and Patrick's interaction yesterday. Guza has no interest in Jason Cook and hasn't given him any airtime. Yet Matt has really come along a character. His relationship with Patrick has grown organically without Guza forcing it like he is doing with Ethan who is a waste of space and a new love for Lulu to destroy.

ha, i do. she doesnt bug me ALL the time, but i was watching clips from 2007-2008 and it brought intense hate on, lolz.

The only reason Matt is even somewhat likable, IMHO, is because he hasnt been forced upon us. I do find him to be a total wate and utterly pointless. GH has obvsly decided not to pair him with Maxie - so why not toss him at Liz? Or even Lulu or someone else.

    • This is where McLaibey falls apart. It becomes clear that McTavish had not thought past Brent/Marion...so the energy drops and she starts throwing things at the wall (Blakes twins, Lonatrat.)   Fans HATED this funeral. Everyone is mad at everyone else, which is fine, the death of a beloved community figure would give people a reason to come together...(Quint and Nola could come together at least for  a bit to support each other, Nola and VAn could finally admit they kinda, sorta like each other) Its just an example of McTavish's mean writing.   I have a feeling they were going to make Dahlia Frank's kid but they chickened out. Making Tina a prostitute didn't help, they could have been lovers when they were young but felt society pressure to part. Marcus took over David's role (you can't have two young black men at that time...)   Get used to it...this will happen, the same storyline over and over until the end.
    • Does anyone happen to have a recording or any footage of Jennifer’s funeral?
    • It's such a shame that the conflict couldn't be resolved in a mature way between the two actors.. especially since Albee was a bigger asset for the show in terms of character and his popular will they/won't they pairing with Deborah Saxon. One of the things about Edge was that it was just as popular with male viewers as it was with women.  It's one of things I think the show forgot in the final year or two with the deemphasis on the male characters.
    • Daytime Confidential did a podcast of the worst mothers in soaps and here were their lists.  5.Felicia Scorpio 4.Reva Shayne 3.Dina Mergeron 2.Helena Cassadine/Shelia Carter 1.Brooke Logan Dishonorable Mentions- Stephanie Forrester,Ann Douglas, Phyllis Summers and Joanna Manning Joshua 5.Anna Devane 4.Diane Jenkins 3.Ava Vitali 2.Shelia Carter 1.Brooke Logan Dishonorable Mentions-Alexis Davis, Felicia Scorpio, Eve Donovan, Heather Webber, Natalia Ramirez, Stephanie Forrester, and Ruth Martin Luke 5.Natalia Ramirez 4.Diana Coville 3.Helena Cassadine 2.Alexis Davis 1.Arlene Vaughn Dishonorable Mentions-Stephanie Forrester Now for my comments. Wonder what Ruth Martin ever did to this guy?!!! I mean Ruth Martin? I don't get it. Next, IMO they are just picking on Eve Donovan. Who is Dina Mergeron? Same question  Joanna Manning? Diana Colville Is that because of the bad DAYS retcon of her being Leo Stark's mother? All of the rest, CO-SIGN!

    • I don't really care about what the men are wearing, or not wearing.   What I care about is focusing on the writing and character development for each of the male characters. Andre really doesn't have a lot of character development that sets him apart from the other male characters except that he seems content to be degraded and mistreated by the elitist Dani.  I would like to know why a good looking younger guy like Andre would willingly be at the mercy of an emotional vampire such as Dani.   Martin, on the other hand, seems to have decent character development.. and it is partly due to how the actor chooses to recite his lines.  Martin was raised in a very privileged household and probably went to the best schools... so it makes sense that he would come across as thinking he was above everyone else.  Most people raised in a upper class situation as the Duprees would view themselves as better than others (it's the same trait Dani seems to employ on those she feels superior to). It makes me wonder how Nicole came out of that family being so warm and nurturing  when her family dynamics seemed very appearance oriented.
    • I know, right. I after just re-reading the thread, I'm like ooppph!
    • Lulu and Dante were divorced before her coma, but she was still in love with him.  He just didn't know.  They haven't been married for years.    I was pretty mixed about Lulu getting involved when it was just a child out there in the world, but now that she realizes it's Gio I am okay with her telling Dante.  It also is her son's sibling.  I still think it's BLQ's choice though.  Lulu is in a rough spot because I think Dante will be mad if she keeps it a secret and Chase, Brook, Lois, etc will be mad if Lulu tells. Without veering too far into the classic area of the show, I had no problem with Robin telling AJ about Michael.  It may not have *exactly* been her place, but she could see how Carly was manipulating the entire situation.  It also ruined her romantic relationship with Jason for good.  Jason and Sonny were furious with Robin and practically ran her out of town, so I think we were to believe she was the bad guy.  It was a bit out of character for Robin to spill, but KMc was leaving the show.
