I would hate it if it's Salmons, but they've given her lots of pivotal episodes to script since she's started, but that's no guarantee. I could easily see someone else like Esser taking back the Script Editor role, and Kanelos being replaced by someone else too. Then again, it's probably Jay Gibson for all I know... Since Conner is coming in on contract as a breakdown writer, it would make sense that one of the contract breakdown writers is going (my guess would be Cwikly or Gibson). I think MAB loves all the former AMC writers (Kanelos, Beall, Conner). Salmons has never been fired from a soap; she's highly regarded by writers and producers. I had the good fortune of meeting Salmons in the 1980s in NYC. She had been in the P&G writer development program and had been hired by Pam Long to write Search for Tomorrow scripts but the show went off the air.
