I know this is blasphemy but I think Jesse/Angie/Tad/Rebecca could bring back a little of the Jesse/Angie/Tad/Jenny/Greg vibe. Not recreating those relationships exactly but bringing back that wonderful mix of love, friendship and family. Tad dating Jesse's ex, Angie and Rebecca as friends, not BFF but two women who respect each other. Jesse and Rebecca as...well I'm not sure what. That relationship needs to be defined better. There's potential for great drama there.

OLTL's KDP and ME/TSJ, perhaps? I believe that KDP just did an interview with one of the mags where they noted that now that she's been on the show for 15 years she's "officially" a vet. And the show has been written around both actors for years.

I only include the ones that I have a guess for. So based on the order above:

I think the first one (the vixen) is KDP. I bet they are going to hook her character back up with Todd. The others are TSJ/Susan Haskell and ME.

The second one is Greenlee. I also think that one is a bit goofy. What other alternatives would there be for her exit?

The head writer is Ron C. He has certainly been overhyped and overrated.

It would seem the daytime chief would be Frons, but I think it is probably just rumor.

Yeah I don't see Josh D. returning at all. I can't see Frons shelling out the money for him to return even if it was for 5 seconds

I'm trying to stay away from the ME v. TSJ stuff since I love them both equally but ME is popular, John McBain isn't by a long shot, but ME has a really devoted following dating from his time on DAYS and PC. And, note, the BI doesn't say the actress is unhappy just that she's thinking of leaving. Even happy actors are probably weighing their options. But it's just my stab in the dark.

That would be amazing. It would be the soap equivalent of when Clooney returned to ER to close out Julianna Margulies' story. He wouldn't have to say a word, Just show up and smile.

Me either. I saw a couple of interviews with him when Las Vegas was on the air and when someone asked him about his soap days he pretended not to hear the question:

Matt Lauer: You and Vanessa (Marcil) both started out in soaps. Do you ever talk about your old soap days?

JD: Vanessa is really cool. She's one of my favorite people.

The airtime angle makes me `think its KM/SB/RH/GV from GH. Both PB abd Jm from Y&R are the top actors with the most airtime on Y&R, so MS wouldnt lose airtime in any case!!!
