Trouble Ahead For Rex & Gigi!

RC says the couples bliss will be short lived because they can only be happy for so long. They will get pulled into the Buchanan story and an unexpected person will have a big effect on him and Gigi. Could it be David? RC says we'll have to wait to see, it all remains to be seen.

2009 Preview:

After all the tragedy that struck Llanview in 2008, you'd think the town would shut down completely. But RC assures that life will go on. RC says "People are trying to rebuild their lives, but the question is, who's going to rebuild with whom?"

The Buchanans

Just as Clint settles into the comfort of have B.E. back under his control, his ever-present father throws him a setback from beyond the grave. RC says "It all gets shaken up when Asa's lawyer shows up with a new portion of Asa's will!" Remember how the scheming patriarch said that if BE stocks went up, his family would get their inheritances? Dorian's little stint as CEO was a major roadblock to increased profits. RC says "Asa has more to say about his will, his money, his company and who gets it and who doesn't. That all ties into the return of David...who will find out that he's a Buchanan and Asa's son! RC says to expect more than just the laughs that David usually brings. RC says "You're going to see a very different David walk through the door. There will be a lot of fun and a lot of laughs, but there are also big stakes to his return." In addition, watch out for Dorian, who sees her ex's homecoming as another chance to nab the company from Clint!

Todd/Tea

Todd feels genuine guilt for the horrible atrocities he's committed, and Tea gives him quite an interesting dilemma. RC says "It's going to be a bit push/pull between the two of them. Tea is someone who has always used hardball tactics to win and get what she wants... and the tactics that she might want to use are some that Todd might not be comfortable with, because she may have to go after the people who are prosecuting him." Meanwhile, RC says that the attorney has another agenda for coming to town, and "defending Todd gives her the perfect cover."

The Teens

RC says "We're going to see that drugs are present at Llanview High School, and at least one of our kids will be falling into the problem. A new teacher in town might be connected. And guess what? We've already sort of been introduced: He's Dr. Joplin's son, Schulyer. RC says "We've already introduced that he once had a drug problem which Todd blackmailed the doctor about when he was trying to get Starr's baby, so we wonder if he's in anyway connected to the drug problem on the school campus." Meanwhile, Matthew gets involved in the drug storyline, which ultimately pits Bo against Nora!

Marty/Blair/Tea

It looks like Marty might fall back into her old ways-her WAY old ways! RC says "Part of what Marty learns about herself is that she wasn't always the nicest person before the rape. She came on and did some pretty horrible things in town, and of course, we don't want to make her horrible, but...which Marty is she going to be? The caring mother, psychiatrist, or the wild child she once was when she first came to town? It all works in her struggle to find herself." Meanwhile, even though John makes it pretty clear to Blair that his heart burns solely for her, it isn't enough to stop her from staking her claim. RC says "Blair will suddenly find herself with two rivals: Tea and Marty!" RC says to brace yourselves for the "feisty Blair that we love!"

Sounds awesome. The teen storyline sounds pretty good, I would guess it would be Cole who gets into drugs. Excited for Scott Clifton's character, nice to see he already has ties with Dr. Joplin. Gigi/Rex/David sound really interesting.. Every storyline sounds great. Sad there's no preview on Brody/Jess!

Wow. These sound really awesome.

I hate to say this but whenever David and Dorian are involved with Buchanans, they make it must see tv. Without them, I find the family pretty boring.

This is nothing we didn't know days ago. I think this only covers the next couple weeks.

I want them to borrow Thorsten Kaye for dream sequences! Blair's past love triangle with Patrick could be thrown up too, cause didn't Blair miscarry or have a stillborn baby that was Patrick's? Ties in with Starr and Cole (his dad and her mom) PLUS - wasn't Cole a retcon? I thought Marty and Patrick had a girl. Maybe Cole has an older sister who will come and castrate Todd with fishing hooks

The teen story line is the most exciting to me. I am so happy that they are bringing on Dr. Joplin's son! It seemed like such a natural move after she committed suicide. Maybe he'll be out for revenge on Todd, too!

LOL so now RC is gonna regress Marty? Cause character regression works so well?

Todd feels genuine guilt for the horrible atrocities he's committed

One of the funniest things I've read all week  Todd isn't capable of feeling remorse or guilt. He's a sociopath
