Yeah, that Adam’s situation had been brewing for months.  Just about everyone in his administration was either being raided, indicted or walking away from his administration so I knew it didn’t look good.
It’s as bad or worse than the GOP situation(s) in Nassau County.
Just a few weeks ago, I was musing that if Maya Wiley wanted to run again, she could run on the “see what you could’ve had NYC” campaign but she has given no indication that she would like another bite at the “Big Apple” and there are other candidates who have thrown their proverbial hats into the ring.

For weeks, I had been thinking the unthinkable— that Adams should be ‘primaried’.

I think she'll take PA, myself. Doom tourists love to hype up Shapiro and downplay Walz, but he's been very strong for the campaign.

Wow. The last Emerson polls were apparently inaccurately weighted:

I just have a hard time imagining a world where she loses PA and wins NC.

I am not convinced she will lose either, though I think PA is the more likely win. I also think in the end we will take GA as we have the last two cycles.

Morning Consult is not always accurate but still worthwhile:

Couldn't Stevie Nicks just use her witchcraft to make Kamala Harris president already?

Stevie Nicks released this song on Sept. 26
and she'll be on Saturday Night Live on Oct. 12.
(Don't know if she'll sing this then, but hopefully)

I wrote this song a few months after Roe v. Wade was overturned. It seemed like overnight, people were saying “what can we, as a collective force, do about this…”  For me, it was to write a song.
It took a while because I was on the road. Then early one morning I was watching the news on TV and a certain newscaster said something that felt like she was talking to me~ explaining what the loss of Roe v. Wade would come to mean.  I wrote the song the next morning and recorded it that night.
That was September 6, 2022. I have been working on it ever since. I have often said to myself, “This may be the most important thing I ever do. To stand up for the women of the United States and their daughters and granddaughters ~ and the men that love them.
This is an anthem.

~ Stevie Nicks

fyi  Stevie Nicks is backed by Sheryl Crow, who plays guitar and bass as well as singing backing vocals. Crow also co-produced the song with 13-time Grammy winning Dave Cobb.
